Hello :)
UPDATE 4th April - Hello, I am finally getting better and have started sewing LOTS to catch up with swaps. Thank you all for your well wishes and your unwavering patience, I am SO grateful for the kindness you have all shown me.
I am working through each swap one by one, and will PM partners incidividually to let you know my progress. I promise extra special swaps to all of you who have been so very patient and sweet!
I am 28, British, living in France with my wonderful family (DH and 2 beautiful girls). I love all things crafty, and have a particular weakness for cheerful, vibrant fabrics, both vintage and new.
I am a gatherer by nature, and love collecting random vintage pieces and weird and wonderful lil treasures and trinkets, hence France is a wonderful place for me to be!
I love nature and country living, growing veggies, tending the garden, caring for my family and many animals (4 cats, 2 dogs, chickens and goats). I live beside a Lake so as a family we do a lot of fishing.
I am so excited to have discovered Swap-bot, it seems a wonderful way to unleash some of my creativity and meet new people from all over the world.
Right now I am reading mostly non-fiction. I am loving Japanese Craftbooks especially!
I am always seduced by pretty photography, I love inspiring books about home and crafting with yummy pictures to inspire me. I also love cookery books.
I can eat books for breakfast, though don't find much time for fiction lately, I love everything by Oscar Wilde, and for easy reading, a good dose of chick lit.
I also LOVE magazines, especially Country Living, I receive the UK Country Living, but would love copies from the US (even back dated copies that you're done reading with).
I have just started embroidery... I also enjoy stamping, paper ephemera which I use for collage and scrap booking, I am new to scrap booking.
I love sewing things for my home and kids and enjoy cooking, basically anything relating to the domestic arts.
I am starting to draw again after a long long break, coloured pencils are my favourite medium, not so great at painting.
I have really broad and eclectic musical tastes, anything goes, really! I am always delighted to be introduced to new kinds and styles of music by friends, it is how I discovered some of my favourite musical artists.
Jazz, Acid Jazz, Motown, Classical, Pop, RnB, HipHop, Grunge, Indie, Punk, Rock.. pretty much everything else too!
I really like traditional music from all countries too, Spanish Guitar, French Accordion, Latin etc Anything that sums up the essence of the country from where it originated.

WOW, that's lots of stuff, if I think of anything else I will add it :)
There isn't a whole lot I don't like, I can appreciate the beauty in most things, even when they're old and tatty and falling apart, old things have a story and charm all of their own.
However I do ask that you please send me things you would be happy to receive yourself, and old speckled mirror is charming, your old canvas sports bag with holes and sweaty smell is not.. LOL
I am allergic to Evening Primrose (random I know!). I don't have pierced ears. I don't use a cellphone, so no cell charms pleeease.
I am not so hard to please really, just send me something from the heart, I appreciate something that has been given much thought and consideration, anything handmade is always appreciated.
I will probably love most everything I am sent, I appreciate the time and effort more than the actual content of packages, it is just lovely to receive mail and a little piece of someones imagination.
I can't take on anymore private swaps right now, because I am up to my eyeballs in Dotee swaps! If you really want to do an Art Doll/Dotee Doll swap with me please get in touch and we can arrange it somehow :)
