About Me

Happily married to my best friend, who travels quite a bit for work leaving me plenty of crafting time. My daughter Abbie (8) is the center of my universe, now that her 4 older brothers have left home. She is my shopping buddy, my crafting buddy and my favorite person to hang out with. Her passions are gymnastics and crafting. Love spending time with my family, my home, my dogs ( Labradoodles, Poodles and Labs) and learning new things. Love decorating, thrifting, crafting, anything vintage, shabby chic, cupcakes, PINK, faries,and searching for new crafts on-line. Love scary movies and anything epic, Marie Antoinette to Sweeny Todd ! Love country music and classic rock. I like mystery books and good verses evil ( as long as good wins!!) I love to sew, paint, cut and glue and can do any craft as long as yarn is not involved !! I love to laugh and make others laugh too. I'd say my style is...shabby, vintage, whimisical, retro, and most of all comfy.

I can't wait to try swapping. I love getting mail and love figuring out just the right special thing to give each partner. Most important things in life are my God and my Family.

Candy

I love white and milk chocolate, dark choclate makes me sneeze and then I get caught and have to share! I love fruit flavors in my chocolate, not into hard candy but love gummy ones!

Apron Swappers

Full, half, old, new, doesn't matter. I wear them in the kitchen, retro pinks/aqua, I wear them to work, daycare provider ( OOh...must have pockets!!) I wear them when working with my dogs ( Standard Poodles and Labradoodles ) I love whimsy, just think FUN and you'll be right on!!

Comment: There is only one word for this swap... WOW! I had kept telling myself that I needed to get a welcome sign and a September guide. What? You had them both in this swap! My next project was gonna be a "bee" apron...your reversible bee apron was...there aren't any words for it! Then my little helper Ariana really looved her apron from Abbie! Your "heartwork" is highly regarded and admired! Ariana woke up this morning with her apron on "Mommy can I help with breakfast this morning?" She buttered and jellied the toast this morning. Comment: Oh my Gosh! What an awesome suprise to come home from a long vacation to have your package on my door step. The kids just loved it! My son just loved the cars and the different balls. They are just perfect for his sensory problems. And let me tell you, my daughter went nuts over her stuff. She has already made friendship bracelets for her and her friends. Hiya, anything can be used on their heads I've made felt crowns or justy had hair no hats etc. see if your library has felt wee folk or check etsy & flickr for some good examples :)
