I thought I would pop in an check up on you today. This flower reminds me of us all in the SWMHC. It is a bright spot in our lives. It is ever changing. I hope this day finds you well. Thinking of you today. Robin
So glad the Three Sisters PC arrived, but am currently in a state of consternation regarding what type of rock the siblings' formation is comprised of. I'm going to have to wikipedia its arse - you do know that, don't you? I would have guessed igneous if sandstone and shale-type rocks are igneous, but then, what do I remember of Year 8 geology? ... Well, then! Firstly, yay, I remember more than I thought. They are indeed composed of sandstone. But, like wow! The tallest one is nearly 1 km tall. That makes no sense because I didn't realise it was anywhere near that. And, finally, woe ... that legend ... I've forgotten but did I send you one with text on the front explaining the Dreamtime story of the Three Sisters? Well, it just goes to prove that we love our stories, because it turns out to be some whitey's fabrication entirely. Way to keep the money rolling in, guys... :[ I have mixed feelings about the Three Sisters. Firstly, I have 4 sisters in real life, so knowing which ones to 'claim' they are at any given moment depends on who's with me at the time. It's embarrassing. I almost feel like I'm cheating on them with my other sibs. My only other anecdote is morbid. My sister-in-law's mother allegedly committed suicide there. Which is sad - rather than morbid.
