November and December are my worse months for wish granting. It's a very depressing time of year for my family and I (lots of deaths and bad stuff seem to happen around this time of year. My great-aunt Anna just died on Friday Oct. 30, sis broke up with her boyfriend Nov.1, an aunt just lost her job of 20 years on Oct 30th too). Money is always really tight for me because I try really hard to brighten the days of my mom, sister, grandma and aunt. So, please forgive me if I don't grant my usual 20-35 wishes during these months.
If I've never sent one to you and you think it's personal (not likely), please send me a PM. The wishes I send are fairly random for the most part.
I've suffered from major/chemical depression for almost 23 years and Social Anxiety Disorder for a decade. Yep, I'm nothing but parties and hijinks!
Bones, The First 48, History Detectives, CSI New York and Las Vegas, Torchwood (even though I've missed most of both seasons)and most shows on History, Discovery, BBC America and Tru. Oh, I also like Animal Cops, Eureka and Ghost Hunters!
Beading, clay, paper crafts and typical "kid" crafts. I don't really know how to do anything, I just putter along. Knowledge takes time, patience and energy...all of which I lack. I really want to learn how to sew again. I stopped sewing in junior high and can't remember a thing!
Likes
I like mysteries (cozy/humor/romantic suspense), humor, urban paranormal/sci-fi, manga, humorous romance, easy crafts/kids crafts books, mental floss books, stupid crook/peope/quote books and books about faries/elves/gnomes/dragons (childrens, "facts", etc)
What books am I looking for? Vintage childrens, craft/pattern and coloring books. Current interests are in my Amazon Wishlist (link at top). Used books are great if they're in good (readable) condition. Please don't send me a Bookcrossing book, because I'll feel really guilty for receiving it. (I donate all my books to the local library, so it's journey will end with me!)
My favorite type of zines is similar to my favorite books, but I'll read just about anything once!
For those who browsed my Etsy Faves, Yes, I love paper dolls and paper playsets/toys!
Colors: Silver, greens, blues and creams
Animals: Cats, dogs, birds(esp. owls and chickadees), turtles, pandas, koalas, wolves, panthers, dragons and leopards.
Items from the UK (Especially things decorated with the Union (Jack) flag)
Momiji and Kokeshi dolls/items, Matryoshka items, re-ment and gashpon toys.
blind box toys/items and mini cars.
color ink pens
Coin purses, wallets, wristlets and tote bags(for my books and mags) Eco-bags are fine!
coloring books, keychains, little trinkets
toys/treats/clothes for my puppy, Bailey. She's 15 months old and weighs about 22 pounds. She's a size large. (she's got a fat belly)
gift cards! Petsmart, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Half Price Books, Janet store, Michaels, iTunes, Target, Etsy, etc. If it has books, craft supplies, cute things, collectibles or dog stuff, I'll use it!
Anime/manga
FOOD
Kinder Eggs!
Dried apple rings, banana chips, trail mix/bars, granola, muslei
peach, apple, banana, orange, pear, kiwi, lemon, lime, watermelon and pineapple flavored candy or gum.
cream cheese, coconut, apple, banana or lemon cookies/baked goods. (Love holiday flavors! Ex: pumpkin, apple cider, gingerbread)
Hula Hoops crisps-plain
I miss Carr's Ginger Lemon Creams
I like most international cookies/biscuits. I'm esp. fond of wafer type cookies and flavored thin crisp cookies (I like Almond and Ginger, but willing to try new flavors!) I also like Oatmeal, Wheat or Shortbread Digestives
Selfishness
All bugs and insects. I have arachnophobia and entomophobia. This includes ladybugs and butterflies, but I won't throw a fit about it since I know some of y'all can't help yourself. I used to love them, but the older I get, the wussier I get!
Anything dealing with rape, assault and acts of physical and mental violence/abuse. Too personal, too close to my heart, makes me cry and helps the depression.
Although I don't like glitter, I won't throw a fit if you use it (Some of y'all use Martha or Stickles and I know those are expensive!) Please don't send me glitter for my crafts. I seldom use it and when I do, I use glass glitter (which is basically just crushed and sanded glass)
Snoopy (stickers, memos, pens, etc for my Mom and anything for me)
Garfield
Little Miss Lucky, Little Miss Sunshine, Mr. Noisy, Little Miss Shy, Mr. Forgetful and Little Miss Magic from Mr. Men and Little Miss.
Baby Beaker from Muppet Babies
Chilly Willy
Any Paperchase item (esp. owls, skulls, food with faces and the silly characters such as robots, goofy pets and monsters)
Deadhead Bears (The Grateful Dead Bears)
Cute skeletons
Cute cows (there was a company in Canada that sold cute cow stuff, but I don't remember the name!)
Cute hamsters
Snowmen (not the Frosty that airs on TV though!)
Elves, fae, gnomes, wee folk, dryads, etc. Prefer cute or beautiful over the horror type, but that doesn't mean they can't be wicked!

Thank you for granting my November wish for a red postcard. I love the one you sent; it's a great addition to my collection!
Thank you very much for the great Christmas stickers! Love them all, and so does my little one.
::hugs::
Mmmmf, yum! Thank you for the awesomely thoughtful and oh-so-delicious:) November wish!!
Thank you very much for the profile surprise of scented gel pens and snowflake stickers!
Thank you for last month's Wishlist gift! My apologies for thanking you this late. I will spare the details... of the sad fate of the acorns... and only say that... life is hard for little things.
Especially, apparently, when they are mailed.
However! They did make for spontaneous art - I'd left your envelope of nuts and seeds in a hoodie I wore to a screening of "Antichrist" a couple days ago. The film has a scene in which acorns bombard a cabin like hail... so... I set them on the arm of an aisle seat (left some others on the floor), and was delighted to peek back and see another patron fingering them with great interest.
I love it when little things come together like that, don't you?
Thank you for granting my November wish for the Wishlist group. I love the colors.
I know what you mean about this time of year. We could be twins from another mother. HA HA.
I am so sorry about your losses.. If you need to talk, just pm me.
Again, thanks for my wish.
Thank you so much for granting my Nov. wish! No winners but my husband definitely appreciated them. It was a rough week for him.
