Well, it should definitely be there by now, albeit rather tardy in the first place.... Did a humble little birthday card arrive in the post for you, Fifi? Whyever not?
I've been a bit obsessed with my Dr No postcard. You "No" the one. I love pencil sketches by a deft, talented hand, and - even better - hand-styled typography. I've traced every step of his lettering with my mind's eye. (I've had to use my face's eyes too, so that's at least 3 eyes in strictly observed* employ right there.)
By whose eye?
I will return the favour. I really will. I liked your lo-fi suggestion to just, you know, write on a postcard and send it. Nice and low expectationy. That helps me overcome the oft-welling anxiety to send perfection, in direct contrast of which is the fact that I simply never do!
As for whether or not I'm half-assed and extemporaneous, ooh - luckily for you I've just come over all RIDICULOUSLY TIRED at 4:38am (oh, shit) because I was going to outline my case against this heinous charge. And if I've said these things about myself - well, just, just... don't listen to ME!!!! It was probably some faux-polite, self-effacing drivel we Commonwealthers offer others in a sneaky move to shock and awe, to nip and poison, to guide then deflect! British men, specifically, do this in a particular way that is FAR TOO RUDE to write about here on your profile page. However, I simply must tell you in private!
Remind me. And THANX for the postcard. I love it.

Your cat is gorgeous!
Goodness. That was rather lengthy.
