14 May Tues: Got the "baby" Garden in Sat. 4 Cukes, 2 Tomatoes and 1 Zuchinni. Now if the critters don't eat them and the it stays warm, In two months I will have a salad!
10 May TGIF Again! Got a call from a friend last nite that her ride to the hospital bailed, so I was up at 5:30 am to bring her to Fredericksburg for Same Day Surgery. The Check Engine light was on again - so after I dropped her off, I went to the dealership to have the car checked. Apparently, I was out of coolant. Quick fix and now I am at the Library. Assigned Partners for two Swaps. I will be putting up the next Swap for 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS & for Large PC - C on Monday. I am not working again this weekend--Yeah! Celebrating Mother's Day on Sun 12 May and celebrating 24 years Clean & Sober--Double Yeah!!

29 April Mon: Only worked 8 hrs Sat. Spent Sunday reading and relaxing.
22 April Mon: Happy Earth Day:-) Worked all weekend. They are trying to hire more Admin but with the Furlough hanging-it does not look promising. Swap-bot Swaps help me to wind down at nite. It turned cold again-dropped down to 40s. I have not planted anything yet but did take the houseplants outside last weekend. They are looking pitiful this morning:-(
Mon 15 April: Sat, went to DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The storm that came thru on Fri knocked all the petals off. Nothing but green trees:-( Walked up PA AVE to the White House, got coffee and than came home. Sun, got a haircut, went shopping for summer clothes, came home and worked in the yard, cleaned out the Shed. Getting out of here soon-DWTS & Dallas tonite!!
Wed 10 April: Finally got caught up on Monday. So I took Tues OFF. The temps are over 80. I was trying to get by with just fans but the Trailer turned into an EASY BAKE OVEN and Frito and the gang instigated a takeover and made me turn on the A/C!
Sun 7 April. I have worked all weekend and the weather as been beautiful. Turned off the heat--Yeah! Got to get home to watch the ACM. Excited to hear Garth Brooks and George Strait sing tonite!!
Sat Mar 30: Easter Eve- I was in a car accident 57 years ago today with my Mom, brother and Cousin who was learning how to drive. My brother and I have matching scars where we both hit the dashboard(way before seatbelts). My Mom broke her collarbone-Funny story in the family was when they took me to see her, I asked where the baby was since I thought the only reason Mom's were in the hospital was because she was having a baby. Alas, no baby.
Just getting some work done and g Postcard Swaps ready to mail. Weather is good today but calling for rain tomorrow. To bad Dorthy Hamil had to drop out - I remember her at the Olympics:-) My teenage son had such a crush!
Tues 26 Mar: Worked Sat, cleaned house Sun and crafted. Monday we had another one of those miserable wintery mix(snow, rain, ice). I fell going out the door to work. So I just turned around went back in the house and got in bed. Bruised/bloody right elbow and arm is tender. But where I landed on my right hip is Okay - thanks to the extra padding I have developed...LOL!! Watching my DWTS - hope D.L. or Sean go home tonite.
18 Mar Mon: I am finally caught up again at work. Crossing my fingers that the system does not go down again! Took Frito to the Vet on Sat-he has a tumor on his butt:-( scheduled to have surgery 31 May. Last nite started to rain/snow-so another messy winter mix today. Starting to ice up - so I am leaving soon. DWTS TONITE!! EXCITED:-)
Tues 12 Mar: I dropped out of the class - it was just so boring and not what I had wanted. I cried with Sue Ellen and Bobby-did you?
9 Mar-Sat: Working overtime again and the sun is shining-most of the snow has melted and they are call for temps above 60 this week. My flowers are so confused.
7 March-Thurs: WED 3/6 Disappointed again:-( We got about 2 inches of wet snow and yucky rain-most of it is already gone. Base did Close-stayed home and made pancakes for breakfast and than a big ol' pot of Chili with Cornbread-yummy!
527 Feb Wed: Nasty weather is gone-Sunshine and 60:-) Finally caught up with work and Signed up for some new Swaps.
22 Feb TGIF: This has been a super busy week. Between the Mon Holiday and taking a day-off for the Drs and to get my house in order. Tonite is Stampin Up Card nite.
17 Feb Sun: Yes I am at work again today. I am almost caught up to this week. I will be taking tomorrow 18 Feb OFF(PRESIDENT'S DAY) Last Holiday until May!
13 Feb Wed: Great Surprise this morning. Roses from my boss! Working hard here and at home.
11 FEB MON @ 6:30 AM: Could not sleep - so I came to work early. cleaned all weekend-took a load to the recycle center and one to Goodwill. Have a great day:-) Will assign Parters for Two Turtle Doves tomorrow.

Thurs 24 Jan: Snowed last nite:-) About 2 inches of fluffly stuff-already melting but expect to freeze again tonite. Just got to work at 11 and am leaving at 3. Picking up my 35 years Length of Service Award.
Wed 23 Jan: It is 14 degrees-Ouch! Did not want to get up this morning-bed was so warm but work has to be done, dogs/cats need to be fed and Swaps have to be mailed:-)
Mon 21 Jan: Super weekend- great weather. Kabob was okay-met some new friends and some old friends I have not seen in a while:-) Went to see Arnold in Last Stand. I loved it! I did get the headlight fixed but did not make it to the PO in time Sat-so all my Swaps are going out in the morning. I am still working on that Procrastination Resolution!
Wed 16 Jan: Snow is in the forecast. Although how it is going to snow when it is 50 degrees. Went to visit my Stepson and his new baby girl last nite. I am an honorary Granny!
Mon 14 Jan: They stopped me on the way in the gate this morning- Stupid Headlight is out in the Stupid Car. Grrrrrrrrrr!
Sat 12 Jan: Got the Spark Plugs changed in "THE Car"- NO MORE Bucking!! Went to the Marine Corp Museum-The President's Own MC Band was there-AWESOME! Picked up some more Postcards. Made some beautiful cards last night with my Stampin Up Girls. Sun Cards for the Troops was cancelled. I will still make cards at home for next month and work on Swaps tomorrow. I am going to start a Group: Monthly ATC Swap - the Twelve Days of Christmas. I did this two years ago and it was a great sucess.

FAVORITE MUSIC: I love both kinds of music - country and western!! Ha!Ha! for those who remember the Blues Brothers. Garth Brooks is my favorite Male Singer and Reba McIntyre is my favorite Female Singer. Heavenly Singers are ELVIS and Patsy Cline. My newest favorite groups are a tie with Zac Brown Band & Lady Antebellum. Love Miranda Lambert.
FAVORITE BOOKS: I read/collect ALL Nora Roberts and J.D. ROBB books.I read/ collect Clive Cussler - think Dirk Pitt is my "dream date". Love James Patterson Women's Murder Mystery Club and David Baldacci. I collect Christmas love stories, Titanic fiction, Loch Ness fiction. Although I am 62 years old, I enjoy reading the following Young Adult books - Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson series, Shiver and Grimm Sisters. Suggest everyone read DEWEY-The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicki Myron based on a true story. FAVORITE MOVIES: Elvis Presley in Blue Hawaii, anything with Arnold S-saw LAST STAND and Love IT!got to love a man with muscles & attitude. I really enjoy action films with John Travolta and/or Nicholas Cage(Ghost Rider is AWESOME), Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris, Jason Stratham and ARNOLD!!
FAVORITE TV: Dancing with the Stars- I have never missed an episode. CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Castle, The Big Bang Theory, Leverage, The Breakout Kings, Person of Interest, Grimm and Once Upon a Time. I just got hooked on WILFRED on the FX channel.Don't like reality shows much. Although I have been watching Hoarders. It motivates me to clean. I have a tendency to clutter more than hoard. All my Magazines are boxed and labeled. I use them a lot in my crafting.

FAVORITE CRAFTS: Crochet, jewelry making, painting, scrapbooking/card making and all that includes, such as, stamping. I am part of a Stampin" Up Card Making Group of six ladies who meet once a month in my neighborhood. Enjoy learning new crafts - I am now addicted to ATCs & Matchboxes.
POSTCARDS: I enjoy making/receiving handmade postcards. I like mine with a note/quote/recipe please and postmarked. Anybody need a VA or Marine related PC - let me know.
GREETING CARDS: If there is a choice - I would like handmade (I keep a Scrapbook for ideas) but if you cannot make one than the store bought will be just fine ( of course, it will probably get recycled into a another card, postcard or ATC) LOL!
RECIPES: Anything with Jello:-) gelatin or pudding.

LIST OF THINGS I WOULD LIKE: Although I love being SURPRISED. It was suggested I add a few items. Anything Snowman/Snowflakes, anything Chihuahua,(Siamese) cat or regular cat , Keys, Earth Day(recycling related), any color (material, paper, ribbons, buttons).
SOMETHING ELSE: I am an avid recycler since the first Earth Day! I believe Reuse, Reduce, Recycle and REGIFT:-) and now Re-purpose.
PET/CHILD INFO: Four Chihauhaus, Frito Bandito (Male-6lbs)just turned 11 years old 5th of July. The Girls- Brownie (8lbs), Bonnie(8lbs), Triscuit the Bisquit (6 lbs). One very annoying Siamese Cat named Pudge (7 yrs) and Cletuis (5 yrs). Just adopted Cletus from my Stepson.
