Thank you for the offer. i am not behind however. i was behind because I left swap-bot for an emergency situation a year ago, I have sent all of my old swaps out, and am happily more than caught up with all my current swaps. Thank you tho, my partner for the postcard swap actually lives less than an hour away from me, I will be mailing my postcard to her tomorrow.
Ok, yeah, i also have a love of those home shows. They bore my husband, though. i do love history channel and national geographic. That kind of reality tv i like, but The Bachelor or John and Kate Plus 8? Bleck!
So it's afternoon in New Zealand? Nice. i was lucky enough to visit there (North Island) when i was 16. One of the most beautiful places i have ever been. i would love to go back someday. i'd seriously consider moving there if i could take my entire family with me!
Ferrets are so freaking cute, aren't they? i once had 3 at one time, 2 boys and a girl. Over time, we found them new and loving homes. i just don't have enough time (or much desire) to keep up with the cleaning that goes with!
i think Firefly was canceled for the same reason lots of great shows are - mainstream America seems to prefer dumbed-down reality tv to anything creative and unusual. But that's just my opinion.

I would LOVE a "slightly mad pen-pal from the bottom of the planet"! Lol. Your envie of postcards,stickers, handmade notecards and Black ric-rac made me smile =) so much. Loved your note and I will write back when I can. I am not the most prompt or reliable pen-pal just so you know, but I would love to get to know you more!
