About Me

update Dec.6th Please be patient with me right now. I am dealing with some personal issues and I'm late in both rating and sending some swaps out. I will try to get caught up when I can. Thank you all for understanding.

I am married with 2 teenage children which are independent homeschoolers. I live in a rural area in a home we built. We are off grid using solar power. So all my computer correspondences are solar powered yeah! We lived for a year with no electricity at all before we were able to get solar power system up. It was fantastic experience.

Nature is very important to me and I like arts and crafts that reflect nature.

I like stationary, sachets, address labels and fancy STICKERS, LOTION, soaps ANYTHING Scented, ribbon, teas, homemade or store bought spice blends, candles (all kinds votives and jar candles ect...),candy I like fruity candies, carmel, coconut, nuts, chocolate ( but between May through September it is HOT here) I like victorian style postcards/cards, Celestial (stars and moons and suns) style, Cats and Dogs All animals especially Bears (real pictures of bears not teddy bears) Not that there is anything wrong with teddy bears :)

Comment: Thank you for the pretty star card! The envie was ripped open, but the chocolate was still inside!
Response: Oh that's a bummer! I had a cherry-flavored candy cane inside there for you too. At least the chocolate made it and I'm glad you liked the stars. I thought they looked festive. Thanks for the heart!

Comment: Thanks so much! LOVE the recipes...and cocoa, hehe. I make mead with my husband, and your brandy recipe is something I will definitely be making. I wish we could exchange! That recipe reminds me of something I had at a pow-wow long ago, it came from upstate NY, and was called Moose Juice - it was amazingly good - have never figured out the recipe - it was dark, and appley, and raiseny, and a little went a long way, and instantly warming...
Response: Thank you for an awesome comment. Moose Juice! I love it. It does sound similar to the spiced apple brandy liqueur. The batch I made is now fit to drink and is lovely. I would love to know more about your meade making!
