I was a preschool teacher for 14 yrs, but at present, I am a SAH Mom/Grandma. I have 4 children (29, 26, 20, and 4) and 3 granddaughters --my son's girls(4 and 1( and my daughter's brand new baby born on Sept. 8, 2008.

I love to read....my New Year's resolution was to keep a reading log this year. I read lots of different things: True crime, thrillers, mysteries, and recently started reading paranormal romance.

I collect windchimes and lighthouse related things. My kitchen is decorated with apple things. I collect children's books. I have a wacky sense of humor and love silly things and jokes.

I am a Baptist Sunday school teacher--with children's groups. I don't mind being sent religious type things. I love all kinds of bookmarks! I'm a self professed 'casserole queen'. I love to cook and bake--I love new recipes and cookbooks (my fav are church or organizational cookbooks).

If my tastes sound a little eclectic, that's because they are!!!LOL

Non-Sewing crafts(LOL). Making bookmarks, paper projects, matchboxes!!!!I love to make and receive these. I love pretty and/or unique paper. Not sure of my artistic side---but I am creative!LOL I have recently gotten into making fleece 'tie' blankets---they are fun and easy to make and so cozy after they are done! I love buttons, especially vintage ones---I'm working on filling a 1 gallon pickle jar with buttons! I also love making magnets out of all kinds of things put onto tiles----this was a VBS craft idea that I 'stole' and made mine!

I love surprises! I always love getting addy labels and swap cards. When I get postage stamps, I feel like I've won the lottery!(I like all denominations of stamps, so I can mail lots of stuff from home:.1,.2,.5,.10,etc.) I like cute magnets, holiday themed items, sharpies, postcards, new recipes, cookbooks (esp. church cookbooks), stickers, homemade cds--esp. 70s music (KC and the Sunshine band, etc)LOL I'm very easy to please....I just love getting mail! My favorite color is red, but I also love jewels tones: purple, teal, bright yellow.
