I'm a Southern (US) transplant currently thriving in downeast Maine. I knit constantly, spin frequently, and sew occasionally. I'm married and have two full-time stepdaughters, an insane kitten, and a dog who's waiting to grow thumbs so he can become "a real boy!" I like most colors except neon ones, I'm particularly partial to deeper tones (rather than pastels.) I'm a coffee fiend (caffeinated) who also drinks tea and cocoa; I'm an equal opportunity candy-eater, and I'm not allergic to anything. I like earthy spicy scents (like sandalwood and patchouli) and I adore Nag Champa incense.

Most everything but country and gangsta' rap. I tune into the World Cafe on my local Public Radio station every day, and I love "world music" (like Putumayo.) I like some metal (that's husband's influence,) and Classic Rock. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Beth Orton and Bjork, but it's probably just a mood...

Knitting and spinning are my favorite crafts. I like natural fibers, wool and alpaca best, and I'm a sock knitting fanatic. I really do like all colors, but rich blues, spring green and chocolate brown are my favorites. I'd also welcome interesting fabrics, cotton or cotton blends, for sewing.
