Just read over your profile. My introduction into papercrafting was through scrapbooking. Initially, I didn't care for it - mainly because I couldn't find my "knack". A few years later, I really caught the fever, but this time the symptom was "cardmaking." I've had the condition ever since, albeit, I've begun to exhibit another symptom - mini album making.
At the moment, I'm so in love with the minis and even though my greatest passion in the arena of all things crafty was and probably always will be working with fabric sewing quilts and dolls, my fondness now is for paper.
I love, love, love making cards and things related to making cards. It is such a wonderful feeling to be able to go into my craftroom and create a card or work on a mini to escape the stress of the moment.
I too love the color orange, with red and yellow coming in second; hence the variations.
So, you're trying to learn to sew. If the distance were not so great, I could probably give you some "hands-on" help. Oh, well ... I can still try from here. You say you're having trouble with your bobbin ... Ok, what type of machine do you have? Where is the bobbin located on your machine?
