Demarys-LOVED your cards! Beautiful! My sewing machine...hmmm...it's an old metal Montgomery Ward machine. Bobbin is located beneath the needle plate. I should apologize in advance as I'm not sure what the technical names are for parts of a machine! I was having trouble sewing some curtains (the only thing I've ever sewn) a few years ago and took it to a shop that offered me a trade for a better machine. I didn't realize until later that I didn't receive a manual with the machine and it worked enough to finish up my curtains. I've attempted a couple of things here and there since then an no luck. I've even used my old manual to figure that my bobbin and thread in properly inserted but I think it's a tension problem?! I get frustrated and want to throw it out a window! HA! (I'm NOT an aggressive person so it's borderline funny when it happens!). I need to take it to a sewing shop and see if I can have someone sit with me and teach me the basics. My mother and grandmother both sew quilts but too, live too far away! Anyways....
