Hi there I’m Robyn. I am originally from California. I’ve been living in Holland for more than 30 years. I love swapping all kinds of art crafts. My favorites are the flipbooks, atc’s, and handmade envies.

I work in a nursing home. My job is stressful and tiring but I enjoy it immensely.

Interests:

  • Making Collage Fodder.

  • Watercolors (expecially flowers)

  • collecting postage stamps.

I’m currently reading: The Patron Saint Of Liars by Ann Patchett. I enjoy Scandinavian authors, Richard and Judy’s recommendations and True Crime. I loved the Dublin Murder Squad series. And for easy cozy books, “The cat who…..”. I can’t get through science fiction or fantasy. I have read many classics I should have read in high school. John Steinbeck being my favorite. Should you have any tips for me , i’d love to know what your favorite books are!
I also can read dutch books.

Thank you for the beautiful card for MAW! Dec. It is a quiet year for us. My husband is working away until the new year, so it is just my mother and myself for Christmas. I did get to go for a 4 day visit to see him for Solstice as he is only over in Victoria (3.5hrs away by ferry).

Thank you for the lovely Christmas card for MAW! We celebrate depending on where we live, lol - so this year Christmas will be a white snowy day with the overloaded ornaments on the tree, presents, and ham & roast as the main dishes for the big meal. Just a small family affair and lots of Netflix I would imagine! I hope you share your famous apple cobbler recipe with me!!
