Hi and thanks for stopping by to read my profile. I am just new to the world of online swapping and basically the online world. My kids are the computer literate ones in the family, I never really had the time for them.

My name is Hazel and im 52 years old. I have been married for 20 years and i have 7 children along with 15 grandchildren and 1 greatgrand son. Families being families I only speak to 4 of my children and only see 8 of my grandchildren. My grandson Kieran lives with me full time. My family consist of myself, my husband John, Children Shaun, Sean, Craig, Glenn, Tanya, Laura and John Junior. Grandchildren are Kieran, Jamieleigh, Danielle, Racheal, Jenny, Sarah, Emma, Michelle, Amy, Sean Jr, Ethan, Jack, Garry, Katie and Steven. Great Grandson is Liam. I am also very fond of animals so we like a house full, at the moment we have a dog Star who is 12 we have had her since she was 6 weeks old, Max who is almost 2 and Pee Wee who is 5 months old, he is Kierans Puppy. We also have 2 tortoises called Dandilion and Burdock.

I don't currently work, I had to give up work 8 years ago when Kieran came along so I could give my full care and attention to him. I used to work as a care assistant. I have recently got into online swapping as my youngest daughter used to do it when she lived at home, I would see the fantastic parcels she would get in the post. I thought it would seem like fun to swap and meet new people.

I also used to have penpals when I was younger, but I don't have them anymore, so it would be nice to maybe have some penpals around my own age we can gossip to each other :-)

My favourite type of music is 50s/60s sing along classics. Anything I can play in the car and can sing along to. I annoy my kids when I sing loud to old songs as they call them.

I like to watch movies and some of my favourites are The Quiet Man, Its a wonderful life, How Green is my Valley. anything along those lines.

I like to keep myself busy with different crafts, anything to do with textiles, so little doll making, making dolly clothes, quilts, cusions, embellishing clothes.

I have recently got more into paper crafts aswell, like making Artist Trading Cards, Bookmarks and I tried my hand at making a few cards only they did not turn out so well.

I am always looking for tips and things on new crafts to try, so anyone want to share new crafts let me know.

Likes - I like bright colours like neons and also bright oranges, greens and yellows. Anything cute so like fairys, teddies, babies, flowers. Things for my home like tea towels, candles, anything for the kitchen. I love to cook and bake so new recipies are fantastic, cookie cutters etc. Things my grandson can use, he loves dogs, little bags, bookmarks, stickers, paints. I also collect Thimbles and magnets from all over the world so these would also be welcomed. I love to drink coffee and hot chocolate. I love sweet things like milk chocolate. I like all types of ribbon and fabric, aswell as buttons and other things I can use for fabric crafts and doll making.

Dislikes - Dark colours like dark blues, reds, black, brown etc. Dislike tea flavours, i only drink normal english tea. Don't like stickers but my grandson does so they are ok. I also dislike anything with foul language on it, everything I would get would be seen by an 8 year old so these needs to be age appropriate sometimes.
