My name is Tracy and I live in a small fishing town in the North East of Scotland with my husband, 2 daughters (17 and 14) and 2 cats called Merlin and Sonny. We moved to a larger house with a bigger garden a couple of years ago and since then I have been growing my own veg. in the summer months. I work at one of the local Primary schools as a Teaching Assistant and I have been employed there for nearly 9 years. I am also a Boys Brigade officer in the Anchor Boy Section (5 - 8 yr olds) and have been doing this for over 20 years.

Since I was a teenager in the 80's I guess I still love all 80's stuff (sad eh??). I was brought up with country music as a kid (even sadder??!!) so I still have a soft spot for older country artists. Mostly I listen to rock and soft metal, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, The Scorpions, I also love Brian Adams, Robbie Williams Swing Album and just now my favourite album is by Nightwish, although my daughters have influenced me and I enjoy listening to Taylor Swift and Jordin Sparks and I am loving Lady Gaga.

I don't read as much as I used to I just don't seem to have the time AND if I read in bed it makes me fall asleep lol. I love the Twilight series and I am reading the Morganville Vampires series at the minute.

(I love loads of films Twilight, Harry Potter, Bridget Jones, American Pie, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (Mmmm Aragorn), Meet the Parents/Fockers, Something about Mary, Goodfellas, Titanic, the Alien series, Pirates of the Caribbean (Mmmm Johnny Depp AND Orlando Bloom), Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, The Breakfast Club, St Elmos Fire, The Lost Boys, Grease, Hairspray - the list goes on and on.

I havent been watching a lot of TV lately. I like nature programmes and gardening shows. I like Coronation Street although I am a bit out of the loop with that at the moment. Any show with Gok Wan I watch cuz I love him :)

Iona is our eldest daughter. She is obsessed with Robert Pattinson and Ian Somerhalder from Vampire Diaries and has pictures, quotes and general STUFF all over her room. She is very focussed in all she does and her motto is - "Life is a competition - win it" (Nothing to do with me I hasten to add). She loves books and suffers from OCD when it comes to them. She swims in the swimming team and loves all things physical (she has won the P.E. prize at school twice). She loves singing, is a real drama queen, can't be seen out without make-up and loves shoes and handbags. This her last year of school and she is School Captain ( we are very proud of her being chosen for this )

Isla is a bit of a tomboy. She loves all things animal and loves nature. Life is NEVER a competition with her. She is easy come, easy go and is very untidy (Grrrr!!!) She loves drawing and plays the piano. She does karate but would rather play the nintendo or Wii. Isla wants to do something with art or music. She sings A LOT :) and loves drama. She took part in the local amateur dramatics production before summer and LOVED it and a few months ago she took part in a school Shakespearean festival and was Lady MacBeth. She loves going to the theatre.

I love crafting - Scrapbooking, ATC's and Mini books. I enjoying drawing and watercolour painting although I have to be in the "mood" or it just ends up all wrong. Me and the girls love going to the theatre and try to go at least a couple of times a year (if it weren't so expensive we would go more). Mal (my hubby) often treats me to a weekend away in an expensive, fine dining hotel on our anniversary. In the summer months my garden is my first love and I am out there pottering. This year I built a pond with a little help from Mal and Iona and a rockery. Me and the girls started painting a fairy mural too much to Mals disgust.

My hubby is 47 this year but like every man still thinks he is a teenager! LOL. Mal got another motorbike this year after 6 years or so of not having one. He loves all things motorbike (as long it is sports bikes - no customs!!!). He was in the RAF and is a bit of an aeroplane buff as long as it has a bit of age to it (no airliners or helicopters - he spends too much time on those with his current job). He does karate and likes Andy McNab books or about planes or war. He enjoys hiking and like most men likes gadgets. T-shirt size - large

I love fantasy such as dragons, fairies, unicorns, witches and wizards and anything gothic (I got my 3rd tattoo a few months ago of a beautiful fairy leaning on a toadstool and I am very proud of her). Anything animal as long as it is not cartoony my favourites include cats, tigers and gorillas. I love mean and moody men LOL, my favourites being Wentworth Miller, Edward Cullen (Twilight), Johnny Depp and Sawyer from Lost. I am happy with any kind of papers I could use for either scrapbooking or ATC's. I love ribbons and buttons and any unusual embellishments - I am a real magpie and collect stuff that I MIGHT use! Other likes - stamps, hearts, flowers, brads, inks, letter stickers or rub-ons.
