Hi! My name is Ryoan. My friends call me Rye-Rye. My husband of 23 years Ned and I live in SW Florida.

Mom of one 19 year old HERO! Bean, our son joined the Army fall 07. For now he is based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He will be headed overseas in the near future. He's going to make a career out of it he likes it so much. We are soooooo proud!

I have 3 Bengal cats and 1-F2 leopard to keep me company. A bit on the wild side for house pets, but never a dull moment. I started with 1 Bengal and he seemed bored and it just kinda got out of hand from there. I also have an African Grey parrot that has the vocab of a 3 year old. He talks very clearly and even can hold a conversation.

I get in craft 'modes.' I'll go a few months and do no crafts, then I get 3-4 started at once and go non stop!

I was a bartender for 22 years and recently quit working due to complete bartender burn out. I have no intentions of returning to work in the future. WOOHOO!!

I am a coffee lovin junkie! I drink wayyyyyy too much but enjoy every cup like it's the first of the morning.

Chocolate at night is like breathing! CHOCOLATE anything.

I'm stuck in the 70's music wise. Older ELton John, Jackson Brown, Cat Stevens, Aerosmith, Stones, Floyd....anything 70's. No country.

Horror flick chic all the way from Attack of the Killer tomato's to the latest SAW I have seen them all. Working on my NetFlix list of seeing all horror flicks made from 1980 on. I'm almost there. Psychological thrillers, mystery and suspense all keep me entertained.

House, Grey's, Survivor,Lost, 2 1/2 men, How I met your Mother, Gary Unmarried, New Adventures of Christine, Most reality shows, A& E's Intervention, sober house, Obsessed, Fringe, Medium, Ghost whisperer, RENO 911, nip/tuck, paranormal state, deadliest catch my fav......maybe I watch too much TV?

I love scrapbooking. It took me 3 years and 9 books to create my fathers entire life from birth to present. I gave them to him one at a time last year for CHRISTmas. He had tears running down his face after the first one. He had no idea there were 8 more. He was in awe. Every page, every detail was placed and well thought out and planned before glued. Each page has a small space for him to write a memory or date. As my Dad gets older these books will be wonderful reminders to him of days gone by and not forgotten. My Dad RULES!!!

I love to make craft items with old costume jewelry.

I cut out fish and paint them funky too. My favorite home made craft. I'm doing a series of 'MEAN fishy's"

I'm a basic, straight line sewer same goes with crochet....scarves only. lol Not my cup of tea.

I love to decophage and I do neat stuff with wall switch cover plates.

I like to garden from seed so a seed exchange is always fun.

I collect antiques.

I love designing things to cut out on my ban saw and painting them.

I pull wild vines from trees and make wreath's all year round.

I like to paint, make candles, soap...There isn't much of anything I don't do or won't try.

Since becoming a member here I learned the love of Dotee's and just love making them.

ATC are NOT my strong point. I prefer a larger 'canvas' when I work.
