I think a good mail art book to start with is Good-Mail-Day by Carolee Wheeler and Jennie Hitchcliff. And, they both have great mail art blogs too. I think if you google Good Mail Day you will find the blogs. One is Red Letter Day. Hope that helps. I am new to Swap-Bot but I am an artist and have been for many years. Your profile is very nice and friendly and detailed. I have hummingbirds in my garden too and recently photographed a baby hummer in a nest. Hi Andrea- How wonderful that you have already hosted a swap! I also like how fair and clear you are about your late and no sends. Having been the victim of the postal system and also bad swappers I understand were you are coming from. How very interesting that you have a degree in truism. I Traveled a bit before I married but never made it down your way. I also love history so I figure that you may also with the degree you have. I love to read and will do it over watching most nights. Hi Andrea - Nice to meet you! It seems you have alot of hobbies to keep you busy, that's the best thing to do.With your patchwork and quilting do you use scraps or go buy all new things? My sister made a quilt once out of odds and ends and it ended up being one of the prettiest blankets I had ever seen! I love your choice of movies. Indiana Jones and Harry Potter are on my list as well. I'm excited for the new one to come out! I need to catch on the book reading before it comes out! I have to admit I saw the movies way before I even started reading to series! What types of fish do you have in your aquarium? My boyfriend and I are in the process of buying a condo and the first thing we are gonna buy for it is a fish tank, lol. Smile big!

Hi Andrea, I also love to read. My son got a kindle for Christmas and that has been AWESOME!! I also have a lot of pets. This past week three kittens have joined our family! They were strays and I could not leave them by themselves! My husband thinks I am finding homes for them...I did, our home!! :) Anyway nice to meet you and read your profile.

Hello Andrea! It sounds like you have a lot of interests! It seems like we have similar interests in movies! I love the Indiana Jones series although I must admit I have yet to see the Crystal Skull one. And Star Wars...love it! Can't wait for the Harry Potter finale. Don't even get me started on HOUSE, I love that show. I'm sorry to hear that you have had some bad experiences on swap-bot, unfortunately I think we all have. Try to hang in there, most of the people on here seem really great. Try not to let a few goons ruin it for you.
