About Me
NOTE: I hit a rough patch in life in late 2010 where work, family, life just got to be overwhelming. Unfortunately, I let my obligations here go and I apologize. I am back in control of work, family and life. I have sent to the swappers that did not receive from me and again, I apologize.
I am married, have three children and live in Mississippi. My two sons are in college and my daughter is a senior in high school.. I work for the federal government and will have 20 years law enforcement in 2 years. Yay!! I work in a Human Resource office in a federal prison.
I love bright, jewel tone colors. I like to swap recipe cards, postcards, knitting treasures, just about anything. I am also addicted to chap stick.
Favorite Crafts
I love to knit. I am currently knitting tons and tons of dishcloths and baby burp cloths. They are fast and fun. I love, love, love cotton yarn...any color or color combination. I don't think it is possible to have too much!!
I am learning how to crochet and am venturing into some paper crafts. I have discovered Zentangles and have found them to be AWESOME!! They are so relaxing for me.
Favorite Books
I love to read. I read romance, suspense and historical romance. Lately though, I have not had a lot of time to read due to my farm, ranch, cafe, mafia family.....I spend some time on Facebook. If you need a friend to play games....I'm your girl. : )
Favorite Television
I love the Biography and History channels. I regularly watch NCIS and Ghost Hunters. I like all the paranormal, ghost hunting shows, but the best is TAPS.
What I would like...
Anything soccer related, my daughter(17) plays on a select soccer team and loves anything to do with soccer, chap stick (addicted to it), recipe cards (newest obsession), cotton yarn (I never seem to have enough), stickers (I like most everything, easy to please), knitting patterns, knitting needles you don't need, pens, pretty writing paper, cute envelopes, Christmas stuff, scented candles, I love gardenia and also coffee scent, any knitting item will make me happy.
Projects I am working on...
Knitted dishcloths, baby blankets, burp cloths and zentangles.
