If you are looking at this you are probably trying to put together something to send me. Let me just say thank you for taking the time to learn something about me and if you are making something for me you have my deep gratitude. If for some reasons you have not gotten your goodies or rating,please, contact me. Believe me it was not on purpose. I believe in rating and like giving hearts.But just sending me anything doesn't do it. I do not believe that you have to send goodies to get a heart but the work should show heart/effort, meet the requirements of the swap, and be on time. I have been known to give a heart when a swap is late when I have been contacted. I am more into the giving than the getting. I see swaps as personal challenges and do try very hard to do a good job. If I have not rated you I may have not gotten your work. I have had strange things happen to my swaps and to swaps coming to me. So, Please!!!, email if you have concerns. I would email you. I try to scan all flat work in case it gets lost in the mail and will happily send you a jpeg until I can replace a lost swap.

I am very happily married. I love quirky over cute. Don't mind dark and absolutely into the different but not super gore. So, the more creative the better. I love learning about cultures all around the world. I have a collection of mermaids ( always looking for split tail mermaids),religious items and handmade ethnic goodies. I love having things to show my students in school.

I love to read! I read 365 books in 2010 as my new year goal, I read trash and treasures . I like doing research and love reading trash. I own a collection of fairy tails from around the world for both children and adults. Please do not send me books I Kindle. Unless it is for children and it is a fairy-tail, how to draw or do some other type of art or is a story about an artist. I am always looking for books for my students reading nook in my classroom.

I love movies. I also love theater and live story telling. In truth I think I just love stories and don't care what form they come in.

I rather make art or read. I will watch some TV with husband who likes action with a story,

I was trained as an artist and teach art so I do many forms of 2D & 3D art. I feel like a Jack of many trades but master of none. I will say that I do not like to knit, or do hand work of that nature but love other peoples work. I really love that type of work and have a collection of goodies from friends and family. Some day I am going to learn how to quilt.

I am into aroma therapy and essential oils. I like to wear rose and spice base scents. I am very fond of natural incense and incense made with essential oil. One of my favorite commercial incense is Song Of India's temple incense.

I love flowers and herbs but never meet a tree I didn't like or mushroom. I am not a gardener but live on a large plot of land. It would better to say that I live in a hidden valley on top of a mountain. I was born and raised in Florida and love the water. Learned to swim before I could walk and to scuba dive by 1st grade.

colors: one can never have to many crayons in ones box but my home is in colors that relate to the forests of the eastern US.

Period inspired work is cool. Dark is fine. Naughty is nice if not crude ( Betty Page cool- Hustler not).

Dislike- I do not like clowns or hobos. I don't like artificial smells. Tea is funny thing with me. I have found that I do not do well with green tea, I don't like chamomile or Hibiscus. Please do not send me books. Every time someone sends me a book in a swap I have already read it and I feel awful that they have paid shipping. Book gift certificates are always welcome and used. I Kindle so amazon works best for me.

Ok here it goes. I love food but like most Americans have a love hate relationship. I am a sugar junkie and should stay away from it. I love tea & coffee Spice and flower teas are my favorite. I like meditating on the flower teas when they bloom. I do like coco- never met chocolate that I didn't like. I am always looking for ancient and old recipes for different religious holidays from all cultures.

I love beads. I admit I am a bit of a bead snob. I don't like plastic beads or most wood beads unless they are hand carved or have a strong religious or ethnic significance. Not into clay beads unless they are ethnic,really old or very unique. I have a collection that would rival many small bead stores and a collection of historic and handmade beads. I Love all things old, ethnic, and unique. I love unusual seed beads in any color. I also use long crimping tubes. I do use flex-wire but not tiger tail. I do like silk thread and beading floss. Cool unusual clasps are always welcome. I enjoy natural stone beads and elements. I am looking for skeleton keys

The Year of the Dragon!!!!

2012 is the year of the Dragon on the Chines Zodiac and my elementary school is celebrating the cultures of the Far East. I am asking all my swap bot friends to help me find cool things for my kids to enjoy. I am looking for kid friendly stuff to share with them. Teacher and family web sites, names of books, or little goodies you think my kids would get a kick out of would be greatly appreciated. Three years gao one of my Australian swap partner sent us a cool newspaper articles about wildlife and some photos from her back yard with cool plants. The kids and I loved it.
