I love things simple and handcrafted. I am a member of swap-bot because I love the personal challenge of trying out new craft ideas. I have been reading a lot of other people's profile and I see a lot of the same sentiments about craft swaps, if you aren't into it, why do it? (ie cheap stickers on an atc card.. is it really art?)
I love horticulture, so plants and insects are one of my deepest passions. I also love animals. I have lovebirds, parakeets, cats and one black lab- aussie mix. I would have more animals if I could.

Things I love: pale yellow parakeets (I used to have one named Willow), black dogs, all types of birds, fluer de lis, plants and seeds, chococolate, funky, 60's retro, fun 70's, fun graphic art, any kind of art!

Things I dislike: Cheaply made, mass produced items..

My style would have to be eclectic. I love handcrafted things and things built with quality and love. I treasure vintage and one of a kind pieces. I love Asian antiques, clean line modern Danish stuff, farmhouse primitives and some of the prettier French and English antiques. I'm all over the place! I love all kinds of colors! I am generally a size medium (women's). I also love crafting and sewing. I make glass charms with altered-art pieces, purses, aprons, etc.. I have a short attention span, so I don't finish quilting projects. I am in love with jewelry. It's such a beautiful art!

I like most everything except heavy metal.

I don't watch a lot of movies- this is embarrassing! I did like A Beautiful Mind, Fried Green Tomatoes, Thelma and Louise. I guess I like movies that seem like they are about REAL people. Maybe I need to make that a goal-to watch atleast one movie by the end of the year!

Trading Spaces, Design on a Dime. DIY type shows. I haven't been watching very much tv lately. I do think that "The Office" and "My name is Earl" are funny. I haven't had cable for several years.
