For people who try their best and swap from your heart, I will always rate well and I always give hearts for personalization in swaps.
I am a cancer survivor. At 37 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease and subsequently thyroid cancer. I can answer questions for people who are newly diagnosed or just need knowledge.
I am a teacher, foster parent, mom and wife.
I will ALWAYS send out a swap, so please let me know if it has been long enough that you should have received it.
I read a lot, so I don't have favorites. I loved the Boxcar Children when I was young, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women. Now I tend to move toward quick reads by Debbie McComber and Nora Roberts.
I have tons of children's books and enjoy reading culturally related children's books.
I am a HUGE biggest loser fan and love Diners Drive-ins and Dives.
My craft really is writing. I write short stories, children's books and poetry. I am seriously beginning to attempt to get more published.
Things I like:
I have realized now from doing so many swaps that I am not picky. I do like stuff that has meaning to you. If you sent me something silly, but it has meaning it would be the greatest.
I do like: wooden Cats, nesting dolls, post cards, stamps, old coins, old pictures (I don't need to know the people), sentimental things that may have meaning to you and that you want to share with me.
I don't do a lot with fabric, but I received some recently and now I am going to try to make fabric post cards.
Some of my favorite swaps are swaps that you have been kind enough to write me a note or to tell me why you did the swap and what ie means to you.
