Hello! My name is Bruce and I am 21 years old. Don't let the name fool you though. I'm a female haha. I grew up on the island of Saipan (a U.S. territory that not many know of), and came to California about 3 years ago for college.
I started snail mail around June of 2018 and have been doing it since then. It's been slowing down lately but I really love having someone to write or send mail to so I decided to join this site.
My hobbies include cooking, baking, watching movies, going on foodventures & boba runs, reading, and writing. I love meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing about their stories and cultures. I feel like snail mail is definitely something that should be kept alive and I would love to join this new community.
DISCLAIMER: I live in an apartment with two other roommates and one of them has a cat (for those with allergies). She doesn't go near my area but I just thought I should let you know.

I love receiving handwritten letters, especially long ones because I love to know what people are thinking or what their day was like. I don't like short letters because it feels as if there was no effort or like they were just trying to get something out of me.
I'm not really into the whole "kawaii" thing though. They're nice to look at and they are pretty cute, but the whole colorful look is a bit too much for my eyes. I appreciate cute things but not the overly cute ones. Sorry!
I can't sew or knit so I steer clear from those things. I also don't want or need anything spiritual or religious.
I collect keychains and postcards that show the certain country or culture. Like famous spots, traditional foods, traditional clothing, a map of the country, etc. I also love stamps, whether old or new, used or unused. If sending postcards blank in envelope, I would prefer if it wasn't of your country/state because I don't know how to make use of those.
I get creeped out easily so please don't put any mischievous or cryptic looking people, or scary images/themes. Basically anything that might look weird.

I have an Instagram account for my penpaling, crafting, and journaling as well so if you'd like to keep in touch, we can follow each other. Just include your username in your mail. I rate accordingly to rules, as long as it follows the requirements.
I rate as soon as I receive your swap. If there are any problems regarding you sending (country on lockdown, personal situations, etc) feel free to message me. I'm pretty understanding.
Please message me before rating if there is any problems. I always ship on or before the due date so if it doesn't show up in a while, it probably got lost. I don't mind resending but please be honest about whether you have really received it or not. Give it about 2 weeks after the due date before messaging me.
