My Flickr Photos
I have been creating ATCs for over 10 years, using various methods/styles, attempting to be versatile. I have also traded extensively throughout the years, probably to the tune of over 500 cards. Most of my work can be seen at www.flickr.com/photos/delonewolf ... I have recently joined ATC Artist Trading Cards group on facebook. I have numerous trades since joining the group.
Although I joined swapbot around 7 years ago, for whatever reason, I have not participated in any swaps until just recently. I didn't seem to know where to start to build up a good reputation. It seemed intimidating.
I will not commit to a swap unless I am certain I can deliver. The only reasons that come to mind for not following through with my obligations would be a health or family emergency. I have never backed out of or "flaked" on a swap, and I'm not about to start now.
PLEASE contact me prior to rating me if you have not received your item from me.
If I'm not creating, I watch a bit of TV (DVR a lot of things), or listen to music. I also enjoy going to casinos.
We have a lab/greyhound mix named LoLa, who was a rescue. Poor girl has issues with wind, storms, and noises. Other than that, she is a sweetheart. It's hard to believe she is around 10 years old now. She still acts like a puppy.
I retired over a year ago now, but worked for AT&T over 31 years and most recently Pima County for 8 and 1/2 years. (In IT)
ATCs are my main focus, but I dabble with junk journals, altered composition books, and art journals for my own personal use.
Types of ATCs I like to create and receive are: Tim Holtz style, Southwest/Desert/Cactus, wolves, vintage, steampunk, dogs, animals, collage, mixed media, zetti, snarky comments, humorous, zentangles-doodles.
I'm not a fan of ATCs composed of stickers, unless that is the theme of the swap.
I also would rather not have extra goodies sent. I have soooo much stuff, and really don't need any more. I'm appreciative if they are sent, but it isn't necessary.
Being retired, I now devote most of my time to creating and trading ATCs, adding to and creating junk journals, watching numerous youtube tutorials and creating new things from watching the wonderful, generous teachers.
Gelli plate prints are another favorite thing to do, along with alcohol inks. I have numerous dies and embossing folders and am on my 2nd Sizzix Big Shot, as the first one broke while attempting to force something just a tad too thick through it.
In no particular order: STEVIE RAY VAUGHN, John Hiatt, Gram Parsons, Allman Brothers (RIP Gregg!), Al Green, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris, Joan Baez, Amy Winehouse, Jackson Browne, Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Jimmy Hall, Delbert McClinton, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Neville Brothers, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Stephen Bruton, Midland, Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, George Strait, Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, Theresa James and the Rhythm Tramps, Keb Mo, Tommy Castro, Robert Cray, Fred Eaglesmith, Wayne Toups, Sturgill Simpson, The Doobie Brothers, Big Al Anderson, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson. This doesn't scratch the surface.
I haven't stepped foot into a movie theater since, I believe, 2005. The movie was Madagascar.
Wizard of Oz, Somewhere in Time, On Golden Pond, Somewhere in Time, Stage Fright (1950), Urban Cowboy, Marx Brothers movies.
Downward Dog, Better Call Saul, Modern Family, Superstore, Blackish, The Voice, DWTS, DOOL, AGT, OITNB, Nashville, The Arrangement, This is Us, Dr. Ken, Shark Tank, Empire, Goldbergs, 60 Days In, Leah Remini (exposing Scientology), Master Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Food Network Star, Chopped, The Great British Baking Show, South Park, Forensic Files, Bachelor/ette, Wendy Williams, Tiny House Nation (although I would need a block and a half of them for my crap.)
Auto-biographies, or Biographies about fascinating people. I'm fascinated by the lives of musicians. Just ordered Gregg Allman, My Cross to Bear. Looking forward to reading it.
