If you are sending me a postcard, please try not to mail it in an envelope - i really prefer postcards that go through the mail.

I am female of 22 years, newly graduated from college with a degree in creative writing, looking for a job as a librarian :) I just got married August 2nd to my love of 9 years, and we're happy as can be. I truly love getting interesting and random mail, and I like to wonder if I bring any joy to the postal workers who deliver and sort my mail. Getting and sending snail mail is practically my favorite thing in the world >_< I currently am in love with sewing, it's nearly all I do! I love to cool asian foods and bake for my husband, Aj (CaptainDaydream). I lived in Japan in early 2007, and I miss it very very much, I got very used to the lifestyle there, so it's weird not being able to get the things I'm used to. I also love knitting, making matchboxes, cooking/baking, reading novels, collecting photos and cool magazine articles, watching movies while crafting, writing letters, margaritas, playing with my dogs, vintage postcards and children's books, vintage eyelet lace and craft supplies, useful kitchen items, art supplies and DIY ideas, PENZEYS spices, nintendo DS and Wii, toast, pretty purses or totes, Carl Sandburg, fantastic quotes, coloring books and lots of other ridiculous things.

My favorite color is purple, all shades! My favorite color combination is pink and brown. I don't like yellow or orange. I also adore candles but I am picky and I prefer WHITE BARN and YANKEE CANDLE, and my favorite scent is vanilla. I don't really like flowery scents (except honeysuckle!) but I am pretty open! I love strawberries - they're cute and delicious!

I LOVE clothing and shopping. Some of my favorite stores are Forever 21, Sephora, and Charlotte Russe and I wear a size small and LOVE accessories.

My dogs loves stuffed toys (please only quality toys they tear them up really quickly if they're bad quality), pizza,peanut butter, and frosted/sprinkles treats. I have two dogs, a Corgi (boy, named Ein) and a Mini Daschund (girl, named Kiki). They also love squeakers, and can wear clothes, size medium and small. They're both very long. Right now I REALLY want these books: The Orc King by RA Salvatore, Brisingr by Paolini.

Ever After, anything Disney (the originals, anyway), Bride and Prejudice, Goonies, Princess Mononoke, The Princess Bride, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Shimotsuma Monogatari (Kamikaze Girls),Totoro, Shrek, Elf, Stranger than Fiction... the list goes on forever. Sense & Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice (I have BBC and Kiera Knightly ones)

I LOVE to watch movies and TV while I sew. I have a VCR & DVD player.

Please do not send me items that are handmade without love. I love to get handmade things, but not if your definition of handmade is a card made of cardstock, a sticker and some writing. If you handmake something for me, I expect to be able to tell that you care about what you made. NO JUNK!

My favorite kawaii animals are panda & deer and HEDGEHOGS!, but I love almost anything. I particularly love food with faces (especially lunch foods/bento, shumai, gyoza, sushi, tofu, or breakfast foods like waffles/pancakes).

I like Taiwan kawaii. LOVE chip n dale and marie and consider them kawaii. LOVE alice in wonderland ANYTHING. I also love KAMIO and other well-known kawaii.
