Hello all!

I found swap-bot via a friend who is very much into ATCs. Seeing the beautiful work she was both making and receiving, I decided to give swap-bot a go. I'm a huge fan of birds, nature, and languages, and am especially fond of the colour blue. This may be due to my synesthesia, but that's another story entirely...

I adore my cat and knit and spin from time to time. Most of the time that I should be knitting I am playing the piano, which is my love, though my viola is probably my true passion... I suppose the piano and I are more like old lovers while I have an affair with the viola from time to time^_~ Meh, needless to say, I love music and collect instruments from all over the world. I have done a bit of travelling and always make it a point to learn about the music in the country I am travelling to and, if possible, to pick up an instrument.

Speaking of music, I am at once picky and not picky. I'm not a huge country or rap fan, or pop... or polka. And I am one of those rare souls who does not like jazz. I love boys choirs and requiems, rock (including hard stuff though I have a hard time with solid screaming...), goth, grunge... I seem to like bands and musicians from Finland though I discover them before knowing they're from Finland... it's an odd thing. Also enjoy minor keyed classical stuffs. Anything that is honest will usually float my boat...

Sometimes I pretend I can write but most of the time I just stare blankly at the page while my muse goes and stares out the window. Such is life.

Hum... some other random things might be helpful, I suppose. I love to cook and especially enjoy new and exotic recipes. I love to try anything new... as long as it's vegan. I'm not militant about this, though, and will slip into vegetarian mode if need be (though I am a vegan at heart). I love flowers and feathers and shiny things. I'm easily entertained with a scrap or yarn and love to work with collage and drawing stuffs (especially pastels of the oil persuasion).

I'm not a huge fan of candy or scented things and my crafting is limited mostly to writing if that should mean anything so I'm not really after supplies. Not a huge fan of little knick knacks or just 'stuff' in general, either, but I do love letters ^^ I love handwriting, you see... recipes, also, will always win me over and are a safe bet... and I love veganising recipes so no worries if they aren't vegan^~
