I am long time knitter and a volunteer fire fighter. I am also a lapsed quilter who needs to do something about the fabric stash that is bigger than my yarn stash.

A note on my no send rating: I mailed two packages for two different swaps the same day and on time. Both packages were lost. One partner contacted me and I managed to remedy the situations and sent extra to apologize. The other swap partner however did not contact me and instead left me a 1 and a comment threatening me if I did not send him a package. I contacted admin and he was made to remove the comment. This person was generally abusive in the discussion and made life a misery for everyone in this swap. I hope that you will overlook this unfair rating and allow me chance to take part in future swaps as if this person had contacted me and been polite about it all would have been sorted.

the Harry Potter films are almost as good as the books but I tend to watch a little bit of everything

since I do not get cable, I do not tv. There is no reception in my area with out cable. And no, I do not miss it.
