I'm a 20 something full-time working wife and mother of two great kiddos. I live in Southern California and been here my whole life and don't ever plan on moving.
Side Note: My DD is going to be 5 years old in April and I would love to have a big party this year. The theme is cupcakes. So any cupcake decor that I could use for the party would be awesome and very much appreciated. We are going to have a cupcake decorating station for a fun activity. I'm so super excited and can't wait to see how excited she is going to be. Thanks everyone!!!
I don't really think of myself as crafty, although I keep trying to be.
I have been scrapbooking for 4 1/2 years and greatly enjoy it. I have recently got into card making. I mainly stick to scraping for my kids and family so all of my supplies focus around that.
I made my very first chipboard album for Jaemac - here on Swap-Bot. It was exciting and a fun experience. Since then I have made two more albums for someone else. I've also made a few banners, cards and other things. I love to create fun little projects like this for people - message me if you're interested!
I used to sew but haven't done it in years. My MIL gave me one of her old sewing machine. Over the past 6 months I have done a little here and there. I new tool case for my dad and now my BIL wanted one. I just bought the material for a new park/beach blanket and started working on it last month.
I'm in the process of learning how to knit. So far so good. I mostly knit kitchen wash cloths but I'm in the process of my first hat.
I like tea pots/cups and antique dishes. I started hosting a tea party once year for my birthday. My favorite tea is Lemon. I have been collecting tea cups, tea pot and dishes ever since. I'm always on the look out for more.
I like country mostly but I do listen to almost anything. Classic Rock, Alternative, even Frank Sinatra and that era.
Although I don't read as much as I used to I do love it. I started getting audio books from the library and it's the best. It's great since I drive 45 minutes each way to and from work. I get my reading while I drive.
Janet Evanovich the Plum series is my favorite. But, my favorite of all is Luanne Rice.
I'm a good about doing whatever I sign-up to do. So, if for some reason you don't receive my swap PLEASE let me know ASAP.
Craft/Scrapbooking:
Likes: I like rub-ons, stars, brads, eyelets, ribbon, bling, letters, thickers, journaling cards/tags, note cards, stationary, glue dots, chipboard, paints & brushes and paper. I'm really into to bright primary colors right now. Red, blue, green, orange, yellow, etc...
I like making my own cards so blank cards (any size). Not picky at all on the color. Actually colored ones would be cool.
Making Memories and Echo Park are my favorite brands. I really enjoy most of there items that I have come across.
I'm always on the look out to try new things. One new things that I'm trying is stamping. I prefer words not really images. I don't use stamps for scrapbooking more for card making. For example: get well soon, thank you, happy birthday, etc...
Other Likes: I like cute cupcake papers, cool address labels and decorative kitchen hand towels.
Dislikes:
Flat stickers, I have a ton and don't really need any more at this time.
Flowers and buttons, I have a few jars full (of each) and although I like them I don't really need anymore at the momment.
Not too crazy about Disney stuff.
Gold and things gold color. I'm more of a silver person.
Used items. I don't mind items that are new and partly missing. But, I don't like things that have actually been used.
Vintage
In an effort to recycle and be conscientious of the environment I'm starting to reuse my envies. Because of that some of my packages are not the most beautiful on the outside. If you prefer new packaging, please let me know. Obviously, I will never reuse a package that is in pieces or smells of smoke, but I do try to make good use of used packaging that comes my way.
I started a 101 in 1001 list on my blog. Blog link is above.
I like dark cholocate way more than milk chocolate. I like it even more with something else like nut, carmel, coconut, etc mixd in. I enjoy hot tea (lemon is my fav), hot chocolate, coffee, popcorn (regular or flavored) and sour candy.
Trinity June: She is 4 years old and is an all around kinda girl. Her girl side likes hair clips, hair bands, nail polish, clothes/Pj’s (Size 7), shoes/sandals (Size 11) and cool cupcake papers. Her art side enjoys paint, paint brushes, stamps, ink, glitter & stickers. Her tom boy side enjoys water toys, really anything for outside. She is in a really big learning stage and is working on her letters and numbers right now. She like learning DVDs, CD's, cards, games, puzzles, etc...
Luke Ian: My little man is 2 and loves anything and is super easy to please. Trucks, cars, hot wheels, flash light, umbrella, stickers, books, bath toys, balls, etc…
Together: They share a room. We have it split 2 walls lady bugs and 2 walls frogs. We are planning on painting and re-doing their room but same theme. If you want to send wall decals, pictures, growth charts, etc… They would LOVE it.
*Please nothing tiny for my little man he still puts everything in his month. He never swallows things but there is always a first. Thank you!

Hi... they are micro beads... I use them when I make shaker boxes or with my embossing... you just put some in the embossing powder and it adds texture... You can also use them with double sided tape and glues (except glue sticks) and they are great for the centers of flowers... I use a big glue dot for the center and pour micro beads on the top... push them in a little and viola... lol... I have tons of colors and play with them all the time...I seen them on a scrapbooking show and was in awe of all the things you can use them for... lol
As a fellow cupcake lover and paper crafter, perhaps you'd be interested in our new swap.... Halloween Cupcake Toppers!
