Hello My name is Jill and I currently live in Arizona. I was born and raised in New Jersey, and consider myself a true "east coast girl."

I am a student, and have a double major in Journalism and American Sign Language.

I love crafting, interior decorating, and thrift shopping. There is nothing better than finding an old chair at a thrift shop, taking it home, and making it into a piece of art.

Things I adore: photography, American Sign Language, anchors, vintage items, craft supplies, cosmetics, rings! (size 8 or 9), tattoo related items, kitchy and retro housewares, lemon scent, purple, gray, black and white, reading, quotes and poems, owls, Hindu gods and goddesses, buddha, tattoos.

Things I leave alone: animal products (fur & leather), chocolate, red, gardening supplies, tea, fishing or hunting.

My passions in life are varied.

As you can guess from my major, I have a special place in my heart for Deaf Culture. I read anything on the subject of Deaf Culture or ASL that I can get my hands on.

I also love animals. Nothing makes me angier than animal neglect or cruelty.

I like to do a little bit of everything when it comes to crafting.

I tend to do a lot of paper crafts, however.

Craft Supplies I Use Most: paper, ribbon, buttons, felt, paint (all kinds), paint brushes, beads, funky fabric scraps.

Music is vital in my life.

I listen to all types of music. Some of my favorite artists: Jack Johnson Lykke Li Amos Lee The Black Keys Anberlin

I love to read. My inner nerd smiles whenever I get a new book to read.

Some of my favorite books are: I Know This Much is True, Secondhand World, White Oleander, and Running with Scissors.

It is very hard to offend me. I do not mind receiving religious things (no matter what religion), nudity, etc.

I only ask that you please put nude PCs in an envelope because my roommate has young children and they sometimes get the mail.

The only thing I would be offended by is receiving anything related to hunting, fishing, fur, leather, or animal cruelty.
