I'm a mom of 3 beautiful young boys (8, 7, 5). I'm trying to instill the love of mail in my 3 boys. They certainly love to take my mail to the mailbox and put up the flag! They are also more than happy to help me decorate my envies!! I live in a tiny "village" in Michigan and love Michigan State University (Go Green! Go White!). I love stickers, making my own envelopes, and making my own postcards. I can't remember a time when I didn't love sending and receiving mail! My grandmother is one of my best penpals, and has been since I first went off to college 17 years ago.
We are cat people - we have 2 actual cats that reside here, along with my 5yo who loves to meow and pretend he is a cat. Pounce is a 15yo ball of gray and white fluff and has been with us since she was a young kit. The old gal is showing signs of feline dementia, but we love her dearly and are doing our best to make her feel loved and safe. Lily is a 10yo tortoiseshell that we adopted in Sept 2018, and fierce enemy of Pounce. But she is a doll to all humans.
Most current country, some (not all) pop. I can never remember artists' names or who sings what...its just not my forte :) not so great with lyrics either, I get that from my dad hahaha. My hubby is great with songs and artists...we complement eachother well.
Current: Big Bang Theory, The Good Place, Grey's Anatomy, Superstore, Jeopardy, The 100, 9-1-1. Started watching a few Netflix series on and off, much better than their in house movies!!!! Hubs and I play Jeopardy every evening. Sad to say, I am rarely the winner. But I kick butt at Wheel of Fortune.
I love Disney movies, especially Lilo and Stitch and Beauty and the Beast.
handmade envies, decorating envies, flipbooks, handmade die cuts or embellishments, basically anything involving glue or scissors...
I love surprises, really truly do. No allergies. Love love love decorated or colorful envelopes.
I would be super excited to receive:
~A few sheets of matching stationery. If you’re thinking about maybe sending me a notecard or stationery, choose the stationery!! I like to write long-ish letters to my penpals, and there’s not quite enough room on a card! Plus I love seeing and using new stationery designs!
~Flat stencils- store bought or homemade.
~Die cuts. Handmade or store bought. Even just basic shapes. Large or small, I’ll use them all!
~Washi tape, especially pictures, shiny, vintage look, thin, or thick styles.
~Blank address labels. Big wide ones where I don’t have to smush my big ol handwriting inside.
~stamped images from a hand-carved stamp!
~Handmade embellishments I can use to add flavor to my crafts!
~floral themed items, always can find a way to use them!
~enamel dots, store bought or handmade!
