...Re: Florida Mail Service ....
Due to Hurricane Ian, many post offices and postal processing centers in FL have been closed (list posted online) and that can make mail difficult leaving SouthEast FL. I don't know how my mail enters or leaves the state..... I think mail will be slower for a while.
SWAPs that may be affected:
CPG: ICM Decos #336770 - Global
AATW & CPG Sept Wishes ****
My name is Debora (she/her).
I am someone who has always had pen pals from a very young age. Receiving "happy mail" is always fun, and it is a joy to spread the cheer as well.
I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE NICE PEOPLE I HAVE MET ON SWAP-BOT!!
I love to try all different types of arts and crafts.
If you believe I am late with a swap, kindly reach out to me to resolve the issue.
Please also reach out to me if there is any postage due.
I mark my swap items "sent" on the date I put them in the mailbox...it may or may not match the date it is postmarked.
Reduce/Reuse/Recycle - I recycle bubble and large envelopes. I also save and re-use all the thin plastic packaging from craft supplies, often to protect my swaps.
I often turn mail art envelopes received into art journals.
Lately I have been recycling handmade or other cards received in swaps to use as my swap insert cards! Making happy mail even happier :-)
I try to rate people within a week of receiving the swap, so please include the name of the swap (thanks in advance).
I enjoy various styles of cardmaking, art journaling, bookbinding, gel press printing, collecting art supplies, collecting notecards and stationery sets, and repurposing things into art.
Lately I've been reunited with decos (the last one returned to me was in 2007) and I've been enjoying that.
I love experimenting with everything - paper, paint and ink!
I bought a sewing machine and hope to incorporate sewing into my journal making, collage and cardmaking...but it's still in the box!!
Lately I love to swap handmade cards, zines, and art decos books.
Unique Notecards, stationery, Dogs (especially Shih Tzu's), Birds, Pink Flamingos , Beach themes, Palm Trees, watercolor imagery, Botanical Themes, Flowers, NYC, David Bowie, Star Trek (all of them), thank-the-postman stickers, humorous and feminist (nonpolitical) PCs and notecards, and items handmade by YOU!
My art style is more colorful mixed media than chabby chic/ vintage. But I enjoy receiving YOUR style.
Love to receive little notes from my swap partners!
Adult coloring books, loose glitter, confetti, sports , kid/school stickers, Dollar Tree Stickers and Notecards (I buy too many myself), children themes, fantasy themes/images, horror, super heroes, cats (except for Hello Kitty !), circus, rodeo, bullfighting. Kindly avoid sending political items.
I do not swap: Friendship Books (FBs) , "Sticker Books", Slams or label bags.
Important: Please do not send any scented items, or those that may smell of smoke. Please do not send any food or drink items.
ALSO - Please do not put flashing graphics on my profile.

I have a Big Shot, and I prefer it to the Cricut. When I moved I donated all of my dies to a summer school. So, I AM LOOKING FOR OLD SIZZIX DIES...if you have any you need to unload, please PM me and perhaps we can come to an arrangement where I can buy them from you.
Thanks for reading my profile!!
Mailing in the USA - ZIP+4 is important: Here is a link to properly address an item so the USPS "optical character recognition" equipment can read the address:
I am finding that washi tape on envelopes tends to get caught in the mail sorting equipment.
Books about contemporary artists. With lots of photos! Instructional art books for watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, etc.
To use in craft:
books such as botanical, scenery, modern art with very large photos that I can create into envelopes. I also love big calendars for this as well.
Large Pop-Up books, and David Bowie Books
