I love all things crafty - knitting , sewing, embroidery, papercrafts, jewelry making, pretty much anything that involves CREATING things. I love writing letters and encouraging people.

I am also a Single mom of 2 lovely children - a 7 year old boy and a 2 1/2 year old girl.

I love anything with a "vintage" look to it - especially things from the 50's 60's and 70's -- I'm a fan of birds, owls, mushrooms, cute japanese prints, and really any retro prints. My favorite colors right now are Purple, Orange, avacado green and robin's egg blue (not necessarily together! haha) [really, I like all colors]

I drink a lot of coffee (strong & black!) and I like the combination of salty & sweet --- choc. covered pretzels, chocolate & peanut butter, and I love chocolate & caramel mixed. Yum! And after all of this talk of chocolate...my favorite cookies are lemon ginger cookies.

I love stationary sets - fun, cute, pretty, quirky, anything! I just love paper! ^_^

I drive a 1983 diesel mercedes benz whom I have named Millie. She's a great old car with nearly 260,000 miles on her!!

I live in upstate NY but sometimes imagine myself moving to Wyoming. It is so beautiful there!

I tend to think I'm an all-around nice person (hee hee). I love to create things and I love to share my creations with others! :)

I'm a musician - a piano teacher, a singer-songwriter, and a church Music director. I love all kinds of music - especially indie/folk music (like Joni Mitchell, Ray LaMontagne, Nancy Griffith) as well as quirkier singer/songwriters like Regina Spektor and Bjork.

I LOVE to read and often have several books going at once. But all time feel-good favorites are the Anne of Green Gables series; LOTR; The Drifters; I capture the Castle; the book of Psalms; the book of Isaiah; Jane Eyre; Wicked and anything by Jodi Picoult and anything by Francine Rivers...really, anything that catches my eye.

Return to Me; the Star Wars movies; LOTR; all of the Star Trek movies (even the cheesy ones); Amalie; Coraline; any James Bond; Mamma Mia.... I really don't often watch movies more than once though.

I don't watch a ton of tv, but I am a fan of Lost, glee, the Office, 30 Rock, Flight of the Conchords, Cold Case, Castle, Samarai Jack, Star Trek (esp. original and Next Generation) and the Bonnie Hunt Show. But, I can't say I watch any of them too faithfully. I loved the show Freaks & Geeks and was very sad when it was cancelled. I loved Alias too.

Don't feel like you have to stick to my list! I love surprises and seeing what other people like as well. The only thing I'm really not a super fan of is violence/gore...Soooo, you can save that for someone who does like it. Thanks. :)
