I'm a music addict who'll listen to just about anything, but loves swing, slinky jazz, blues, and oldies best. I've moved an average of every two years since I was born. I wouldn't take any of it back.

I love Winnie the Pooh and Dr. Suess and classic Disney (it's just not what it used to be, let's face it). I love books, and writing stories and letters and connecting with people I might never meet were it not through the mail. I have social anxiety disorder, which has been pretty bad in the past (though I'm getting past it now), and it's been things like hearing from penpals that have helped get me through.

I like the strange places life takes you and the people you meet on the way. I'm applying to nursing school next year and want to work with kids.

I think when you overcome a problem and realize you've made it through, it's your duty to pass that on to someone else who needs it.

I am owned by one cat, named Kitty. She's smooshy, hairy and is a complete glutton for attention. I think she may be trying to kill me - she likes to sleep on my face.

I'm studying to be a master herbalist through the School of Natural Health out of Utah and plan to start into a nutrition program next year.

olives, most sour candy, not having snow at Christmas (usually we don't get any until the DAY before or right after New Years, and then it's a horrible blizzard that knocks out power), when letters get lost in the mail, when people don't listen or think they have all the answers

SWAPPING LOVE

KEYCHAINS! I love keychains! I never buy them from the stores because they always seem mundane and boring when it's somewhere local, but getting them from a pal is the best thing in the world! I am a tea drinker, but I only drink herbal teas, no black or white teas and no mixes of the two!

Postcards, letters, journals, stickers, christmas cards - holy crap, my cat is attacking my shoe o.O no wonder it's covered in cat hair - photos, buttons - and by buttons, I mean those fun pins that have sayings on them, like "I know you are, but what am I?" and "It's been lovely, but I have to SCREAM now."

STUFF I SWAP/CAN SWAP

Homemade postcards, Christmas cards, buttons (again, I mean pins... I should just start saying THAT instead of buttons -.-'')... I tend to pick up stuff for swaps as I go. I love swapping lists and letters, too!

Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey (one of the first series I fell in love with), Unicorns of Balinor by Mary Stanton, anything by Tamora Pierce or Diane Duane, the first few Anita Blakes. Artemis Fowl, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Ender's Shadow series by Orson Scott Card.

I love Maggie Shayne's Twilight series, S. Meyer's Twilight series, crappy teen novels. I LOVE the Harlequin Flipside series intensely. On my list to read are Dune, the No1 Ladies Detective Agency, everything by Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer (I love historical stuff, too, did I mention that??)....

Ummm... I love biographies, like Shutterbabe, or adventure books. I have some of the National Geographics' journals, like John Ledyard....

Aliens 2 (I refuse to acknowledge Aliens 3 as a part of the series), Virgin Suicides, Transformers 1&2, Confessions of a Shopaholic, anything with Cary Grant or Audrey Hepburn, Mamma Mia!, Deeply, the Ghost & Mrs. Miur, Maltese Falcon, Strangers on a Train, Murder My Sweet, film noir classics and all things Philip Marlowe!
