I thought I'd try this. I miss the old days when people sent things in the mail.. the excited feeling I'd get when walking to the mailbox.

I'm a kid at heart.

Here are some things that I love: - Unconventional silly fun - Going on adventures! - Math/stats/graphs/spreadsheets - Fixing things - Random kindness - Card games/board games - Puzzles - dancing (goofy-like) - being silly - remembering lyrics and singing all over the house - Talking in a southern accent - Talking to kids and teens - Teaching - Loving animals - Riding horses - Jump rope (double Dutch) - Four square - Remembering phone numbers and birthdays and names - Making crazy salads - Skiing - Geography and maps and navigation. - Human pyramids - Fresh fruit, especially watermelon in the summer, cut into cubes.

Comment: What you sent did not meet the swap requirements. I think you may have missed the direction that all stickers count as one item, which wouldn't have necessarily drawn me to rating a three by itself. However, overall what you sent was very disappointing and it was marked sent a day late. I sent you a message asking if you'd like to send a few more items to make the swap meet the guidelines but you haven't been online in quite a while and have several over due swaps on your dashboard. I hope that everything is fine with you out there in Missouri, Jota, and that you'll be able to come back and make things right for the people who's swaps you didn't send.
Response: I sincerely apologize for not responding earlier, and for not meeting the swap requirements. My brother was killed in a car accident about 2 weeks ago. I want to make everything right with all the swappers, but I am not going to be able to right now. I'm not sure how to proceed. I will email the coordinators and the people from other swaps. Comment: Thank you for the card and nice note. I really can't say I've 'struggled' with my deafness, as I don't know any other way of life. I have hearing aids, but quite frankly, I hardly wear them, because I enjoy my quiet world :)

Comment: First off, you sent me my very first postcard from is Missouri! Thank you so much! Profiles are really hard to fill out, I just ended up writing a bunch of random things about myself and hoped it made sense. Hahaha thank you for the kind words. This is definitely one of my favorite postcards :)
