About Me
I am 53, married with two grown up children and a two year old Grandson.
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and haven't worked in paid employment for 29 years. I keep busy by doing voluntary work plus minding my Grandson two days each week.
I have been a committed Christian for 25 years.
I enjoy many hobbies, writing, reading, playing online Scrabble, singing, making greetings cards and scrapbooking. I have just started to make ATC's which I find am hooked on, I love anything miniature.
If you are expecting a swap from me and it doesn't arrive within a reasonable time PLEASE let me know. I will rectify the problem as soon as possible. I will NEVER join a swap unless I am 100% sure that I can and will meet the requirements.
Favorite Music
I love all kinds of music and I love singing to all kinds of songs! A lot of my favourite songs are songs that were in the charts during the 70's and 80's.
Favorite Books
My all time favourite book is "3 men in a boat" by Jerome K Jerome. I like all Jane Austen's books. Love books by Bill Bryson Love autobiographical or biographical books. Love books by Lynne Truss ................I just LOVE books :-)
Favorite Crafts
I love making greetings cards and scrapbooking. I have just started to make ATC's which I find fascinating. Inspite of my love of crafting I am not at all artistic so use rubber stamps, peeloffs etc to make my cards. However, I don't just stamp or stick, I embelish my work to enhance it as much as I can.
Favorite Television
I don't watch much TV but one programme that I have been enjoying watching recently has been "Secret Millionaire".
Likes
The colours Yellow and Lilac Rainbows or anything rainbow-striped. Robins..... (english ones) Victorian stuff. Vintage stuff. Flowers. Hearts. All things "Christian" Snow ..... snowy scenes. Sunshine

Carol....Thank you for the wonderful letter I received today for the OFAP letter tag:) The timing of your "Carol take me away letter" was perfect for me to connect to another adult today when I had so many babies I was caring for!!! I enjoyed getting to know you, your family, and your sharing of the attraction in your community..."Crooked Spire" is fascinating:) I am curious though...what is the weather like for you this time of year?...HUGS!!
