My name is Lauren and I am a lead preschool teacher at a small program in North Carolina. I am a proud Gryffindor, Whovian, Minecrafter, Redditor and all around nerdy chick. I love watching movies and shows with my SO at our computer desks on Friday nights. My other roommate is my best friend from high school and all 3 of us get along famously. I am kind of introverted but if you are kind to me you will get kindness in return. I have been writing letters for several years and have 2 long term writing buddies.

Comment: Thank you for your swap. I'm grateful that you kept in touch with me and let me know it'd be late. Weird thing though, there's no postage on it, and it's stamped "returned for postage" yet it arrived to me and my mailman (who must love me) didn't charge me for it. So, very weird, but good. Nice letter. Thanks!

Comment: Hello, and Thank you for the pick 3 swap. I appreciate the small envelope and note however the tape that was applied had torn it in half. The hello kitty card is not in good condition. Im not sure where you store your cards, but it has markings all over the top and the back is very dirt. I would not be able to re-use this card. Although I appreciate the mini fabric samples, I had to throw it away because it smelled like mold and I am very deathly allergic. I deeply apologize for the not so positive comments. But I think that honesty is the best way to help a friend improve. Good luck to you and may you have better Swaps in the future.
Response: I just want to start by saying how sorry I am that your swapping experience with me was less than pleasing. I store my note cards (in their envelopes) in a decorated Tri Coastal Traditional Style Floral Box which I bought 2 months ago from Sears. I bought the cards from Wallgreens down the street and can't believe you recieved them in such conditions. I am embarrassed to say I did not realize they were as dirty as you described them to be. I bought the fabrics at a place called The Scrap Exchange and have stored them in their original package. Our apartment is brand new and clean (the mold didn't come from me). I appreciate your fair and honest rating and sincerely apologize for any risk my swap items may have put you in. I want the best swapping experience for all of the swappers that recieve my packages. Comment: Lauren! Your envelope art is so gorgeous, reminds me of India or a peacock. I carefully sliced it open on 3 sides and am going to put it on my wall, it is so beautiful and inspiring. And I loved what you said about brightening postal workers days to see some mailart in with all the boring mail they have to deal with, I think about that too when I'm dropping my mailart in the slot. You sure brightened my day!
