"Working at the Jobcentre has to be a tense job - knowing that if you get fired, you still have to come in the next day."

Newbie Friendly - Profile Hello #12

Hello. Hope you are fine. I am new also to swapbot. It will make a month since I joined swapbot and I'm enjoying it. Me too I like sending and receiving things in the mail. But I enjoy more the sending.

Have a great weekend!

One I like; What is the difference between ignorance and apathy? A: I don’t know, and I don’t care.

One of the kid’s favorites: How do you get a squirrel to like you? A: Act like a nut! When I’m acting up [as grandfather figures often do], the four year old will tell me this one and then tell me that the squirrels are going to eat me up.

Newbie Friendly Profile Hello #12 Hello! As a fellow "Newbie" a friend gave me advice before I joined. She told me go into "edit profile" , "personal" and add lots of details. I read other people's profiles to get ideas, and I edit every once in awhile to help people get to know me. Then I learned that you can be banned from a swap for not having a filled out profile, and I didn't want to miss any.

It's a bright blue sky, cold, say here in Idaho! I'm going to need some hot chocolate! Take care, and have a great weekend! Julie

Newbie Friendly - Profile Hello #12

I'm guessing that you have had snow already. Our first real snow of the season is just winding down now. I'll go out shortly, clean up some snow and then go for a little snowshoe. There isn't really enough to need snowshoes, we got about 6" and it has already packed to less than 4, but I'll put them on and make some tracks anyway.

Our older daughter is sad. She woke up to three inches of "beautiful" snow and it promptly turned to rain. By noon, it was all gone. That's what she get for living on Cape Cod. It never stays on the ground there. After living there for seven years, one would think that she would have figured that out by now.

We are both hoping there will be snow on the ground when they come here for Christmas, so she and I can go snowshoe together.

Best Wishes and stay warm. Neal

Hello PJ! I'm Chandler.

I'm also new to the swap-bot. I love zines too. I used to make my own but then I got sidetracked by journaling lol.

I hope you have a beautiful day!

Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house? Of course, a house doesn’t jump at all.
