Hey there, today I got your bookmark-package and loved it. I read through your swapbot-site and learned that AK doesn't mean Arkansas (what I thought it means) but Alaska, and then I found your photo-stream on Flickr, and I LOVE your photos!! They are great! I would love to come to AK one day, it must be terrific. You got wolves there, haven't you? I love them! If you see one, would you please say hi for me? I've never seen a wild one ... sigh Thanks and thanks for swapping with me. :-) Meike

An opsimath can refer to a person who begins, or continues, to study or learn late in life.[1] The word is derived from the Greek οπσε (opse), meaning 'late' and μανθανω (manthano), meaning 'learn'.[2]

Oh, yes, I like this word

This is from your irascible neighbor. Merriam-Webster defines irascible as hot tempered and easily provoked to anger, you obviously are describing my husband, not dear, sweet lovable me. I prefer irrepressible, irresistible, irreplaceable and, of course, irritating, but I am never irascible. It's more fun to watch other people losing their tempers while you keep yours. So much more entertaining that way....

So, how's things going between the volcano and the blizzard? Apparently I made it off the island jsut in time to miss the blizzard and out of Anchorage just in time to miss the volcano. Cause you know....

No one gets off.....The Island.
