About Me

mother of 4 girls, grandmother of 8. Number 8 arrived Sept. 29!! I like reading psychological thrillers(Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Marcia Muller, Sue Grafton); baking-especially cookies; unusual cupcake papers, out of the ordinary cookie cutters, aprons, vintage items...jewelry, linens, hankies, pretty china teacups; childrens books with illustrations by Eloise Wilkens; lilacs, pansies, and flowers in general; genealogy; finding seaglass in Maine; chocolate; music of the 40's thru early 70's with some of my favorites being any of the crooners of the 40's, most all of the 50's and 60's groups; wearing the colors aqua, teal and pinks; recipes of 5 items or less; interesting teas; brownies(the eating kind); icicle Christmas tree ornaments-my tree is loaded but I always can and do add more each year; opals; IKEA; wearing jewelry every day-some days more "sparkly" than others.
