UPDATE: i will be away for the whole of August with no internet access. any swaps around that time will go out when i return and any messages will be answered after that time as well.

NEWS : in September i will be heading back to uni to train as a teacher. I will also be moving into university accommodation. please check my address carefully from about sept 20th when the move will be taking place. any post sent to my previous address will still be collected but may take some time to reach me and therefore to be rated. i will also be cutting down the number of swaps i do to try not t o put to much extra pressure on myself.

i'm 24 and living at home with my parents after having a major operation on my foot and 8 months on i up and about walking by myself. i am off in september to train to be a teaching having put of my second operation for a year. i enjoy travelling, my treat to myself this year for staying sane is to go to China and Russia for 3 weeks in august. I have a rubber duck obsession at the moment and have about 25 and have just discovered mini moo cards from moo.com which i'm trading for as well on my flickr account.

i love getting post, the more exciting the outside package the better, i can only get to the post office about twice a week but all my trades go out on time!

Please don't be offended if the package you receive comes in a second hand envelope or bubble envelopes. I'm currently unemployed and would rather spend the little money i have on nice things to send to people than buying envelopes etc. I also believe this will help cut down on the waste we create.

i'm starting to craft my own postcards and enjoy scrapbooking. i also make my own jewellery which i sell every so often at craft fairs. i am also creating a book about people from around the world on bookcrossing and want to cover the front with stamps. I am also joining in with the boochmooch journals and have created my own three which are travelling round.

• Magnetic strip (sticky one side which i can't here in the UK)

• i'm really not into pink, flowery stuff as i'm not a girly girly at all.

• i'm allergic to soap and strongly perfumed stuff.

i love reading and am just starting a literature course through the OU.

i like fantasy and sci-fi and am just getting into da vinci code esq books.

i collect and use stamps in my crafting and although i like to buy them off ebay (money permitting) i love to see real stamps from around the world on the envelopes i receive. So please ask at the post office for real stamps if you are posting a letter to me the more exciting the stamp the better.
