I am the mother of 2 teens and I teach at a large, public high school in TN. I like Celtic, art nouveau, bold florals and vintage items. I love chocolate, Starbucks, architecture and gardens, fashion and textiles, animals, and art. Got my first tattoo with my daughter on her 18th birthday and looking forward to my next tat with my son when he turns 18.

I enjoy home dec, gardening, sewing, jewelry making and quilting. My fav fabrics are bold florals (Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner), and shabby chic styles. I generally do not like cutesy novelty prints unless they are vintage. I love all the Japanese craft books that are out now. Sock and Glove is an excellent book! I spend way too much $ on beads, fabric and books! I have been sewing since high school and making jewelry since 2003. I always use sterling silver, copper or bronze in my jewelry and only high quality beads. Czech glass, Swarokski crystal, pearls, gemstones, handmade boro beads and vintage glass beads are my favorite although I started using cheaper materials like craft wire and Chinese glass beads from local craft and discount stores. I still have some of my first pieces of jewelry made from the cheaper materials and they are still some of my favorites!

A little bit of everything except screamo and gangsta rap. I love John Mayer, Josh Groban, Maroon 5, Dierks Bentley, Prince, Coldplay, Eagles, John Waite, classical and 80's music!

books that make me think about religion, relationships, history. I especially enjoy books written a long time ago or set in the past. I have lots of art books from the museums I have visited and artists I love. I have lots of books on architecture and housing, clothing, gardening and sewing. I am especially fond of Japanese craft/sewing books.

anything with Hugh Jackman...yum! I like movies with amazing costumes and sets. I like musicals and movies with a sad ending. Dune, Godfather, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Elizabeth, Frida, Marie Antionette, Dangerous Liasons, and LOVE 80's teen movies, since I was an 80's teen.

I don't watch a lot of TV but I like Queer Eye, CSI, What Not to Wear, Project Runway, Dexter, Tudors, Miami Vice lol!
