I am in my mid thirties, married with no kids, but we have 2 beautiful (but sometimes mischievous) Italian Greyhounds which are enough to keep us busy. I have a day job of sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours, so I prefer to sit in front of the sewing machine (and occasionally, overlocker) when I have time for my hobbies.

Any books and magazines to do with fabric & bead related crafts. I like looking at pictures instead of reading a lot of words. I love Japanese patchwork and quilting magazines, even though I can't read Japanese at all.

Chic flicks - Notting Hill, Bridget Jones Diary, Pride and Prejudice (TV version, the one with Colin Firth in it)

• Making fashion doll clothes
• Making handbags
• Making beaded jewellry
• Making other small-ish fabric items, like cushion, placemats, coasters, scarfs etc
• Admiring people who are patient enough to make a queen size quilt, flipping through quilting magazines and dreaming 'I will do this one day...'
• I love paper craft too, but I try to stay away from it in order to prevent opening another can of worms...

I love Kawaii stuff and cartoon characters, in particularly, I love My Melody, Tuxedo Sam, Little Twins Stars, MonokuRo Boo, TaroPanda, MushiMaro.

I love fabric with the following contents - cherries - strawberries - apples - love hearts/valentines - cupcake - mushroom - polka dots

I love fabric in the following styles - shabby chic - Japanese novelty fabric - 70s retro style - Japanese Kawaii characters - contemporary - toile

I love fabric from the following designers/manufacturers: - Robyn Pandolph - Michael Miller - Alexander Henry - 3 Sisters - American Jane Patterns - Tula Pink - Sandy Gervais - Deb Strain - Prints Charming - Kaffe Fassett - Amy Butler - Sandy Henderson

I am not particularly keen on fabric of the following styles - post-war / Liberty - realistic animal prints - african prints, indigenious prints, hawaiian style, bandana - dark mushy color - Neon color - tie-dyed / Batik

Please don't send food of any kind to me (including tea bags, lollies, chocolate), not that I don't like them, but the Custom in Australia is very strict about what come into here.
