I have been married for 24 years to Mr. Wonderful. We have 3 children. Daughter one is married with a new baby girl. She is 23 and our son in law is 26. Our son is 20 and recently returned from Army Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training (Graduating as an Honor Grad). He left on a Mission for our church for 2 years. Our 16 1/2 year old daughter is a HS Junior and has hit high school running. My husband is a Highway Patrolman and she likes him to deliver her to school in his unmarked Charger so the boys will turn their heads - either at her or the car. She isn't picky. I am a mom and wife who loves that job. I've not worked outside of the home since my first child was born. Now I'm available to help with my granddaughter.

Both my husband and son are in the National Guard. My husband was deployed once.

We have a female Border Collie and a Russian Blue female cat who recalls being revered in Egypt. I love life.

I read, do photography, scrapbook, crochet, sew and have learned how to piece quilt. I also want to learn to bead jewelry. I love 80's music. The first half. I always say life is a song - and usually and 80's song.

I love doing swaps. It's nice to get mail, but I think the funnest part is coming up with a package that I would like, hoping the recipient will like it as well. I found a place that has some really great kitchen towels and send the ones I would love. It is closing for the winter. Maybe I should stalk up.

Swaps I have done are Apron, dishtowel, Halloween, several Christmas ones, favorite fall, secret santa, Alphabet, recipe, handmade item, etc. I have been a participant in several swaps.

I have really enjoyed the apron swaps that I have done. I usually crochet something if a swap calls for something hand made. I do doily's, table cloths, bed spreads and am currently doing dishrags as my granny sent me many patterns for them.

I like both gold and silver jewelry. I wear whatever mood I'm in. I love pinks and deep dark reds. Floral scents make me sneeze but spice or fruit ones are ok.
