Grrrr, this computer doesn't like me very much. As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted by technology is that I got your second Masquerade ATC today. I thought you wouldn't be able to top the last one you sent me, but I was wrong. Your ATC tickled me so much. I showed it to both my coworker and my boss and they absolutely loved it! You have a great sense of humor :) If I could, I'd give you a million hearts :D
Yes, that Cute Woodland Creatures ATC was intended to be a hedgehog but it does look like a porcupine so I'm not offended, LOL. Glad I was able to provide a trip down memory lane, spikey or not. ;)
Oh haha. Don't worry about anything old school,I just like receiving different things, pieces of different artists and people. I think they liked it because it was cute, but I like the layering of different materials, as well as the balance, colors and composition.
The zentangles are popular drawings for ATCs because they are easy to do for some people and are a way to calm the mind if repetitive work soothes you. If you need me to go into detail about zentangles I can send you a message about them =)
As for collage, save your mags! I tend to buy things (textbooks, art books) with plans to collage and then end up just keeping them because they're just too nice to cut up. Try saving up bits and pieces from "extras" and collage from that if you want to try.
I think I've only actually done collage ATC's twice now.... good ones take a fair amount of work =P
