I love learning and exploring, and I smile brilliantly when I meet new people. D=
Okay, really:
I am a student majoring in Nursing (switched from Elementary Education). I am mostly Lebanese, but I am German/Polish, Black Foot, Portuguese, and Greek as well. I have a cat named Mercedes, two red ear slider turtles - Gator and Dolly - and five Betta fish (Beauregard, Te, Pickle, Craw, and Notch). There are also two parakeets in my household, Happy and Peepsie (dear lord I hate that name).
My goals for this upcoming year:
-finish my Hawaiian Chews (Death of the Blue Dog) painting
-keep up my GPA D= gotta do it!
-not buy any more Betta fish (four fish tanks is enough, yes?)
Just some of the art I enjoy: image-manipulating, sculpting, painting (traditional and digital), and photography.
I am currently most involved in ATCs.
There should be a link to my Gallery at the top of this page where you can see an archive of most of my ATCs =)
My goal is all 5's =) I always make sure I have the time and resources to complete a swap before I join, and leave wiggle room in there for life's little happenings.
What HEARTS mean when they come from me: They have nothing to do with "extras." (I don't like or use most of what I receive as extras, and they usually end up being passed along with my outgoing ATCs, unless, on an odd occasion, I've received a paper or embellishment I especially like. This is probably because I'm big on making hand-drawn and/or painted ATCs.) If I've given you a heart, it is a true complement for what you've made for the trade. When I open an envelope and the ATC makes me smile, or I feel that the artist has really put something of herself into the trade, that's when I give a heart.
If you're in a swap with me and are looking for some ideas, here are my likes and dislikes:
I have no allergies, but flower-scented things are a head-ache trigger for me.

Come join my $5 Etsy Surprise swap in the All About Austen! group!

I had a look at your gallery and I love your work so much!
Thanks for letting me know which ATC I sent you. I've got scans of the cards I sent, but it makes my crazy trying to figure out who got what! That background kept on calling to me, wanting a bit more here or there...drives me nuts when that happens; but those are often the cards that make me happiest! Glad you like it too~
yeppers! I signed up for your fabulosity!
Thank You SOOO much for angeling your chewing gum wrapper ATC swap for me! I loved your cards!!! The heart-farts one made me giggle!
Thanks for my star. I really appreciate the opportunity to coordinate a swap with such a great swapper. Anytime. : )
Wishing you a Happy October Birthday from Raven and the Monthly ATC Swappers Group
I can't remember if I told you your Expulsion ATC arrived the other day. I love it! Thanks for swapping with me!
I absolutely loved your ATC. It's so cute. I have it on my desk next to my computer monitor. Thank you much! :]] And I love the owl's little purple eyes. hehe.
I didn't see a place to post Thank Yous for the Wish Granted Tag Game on the Open Forum. So, I wanted to thank you "publicly" here besides my PM to you. As I said, the jewelry pieces have great "re-deuxing" potential and the ATC you sent was very unique. I hope you are having fun swapping and learning the ropes here at SB and picking up a few "postal" tips from some of the old timers. =)
