Comment: Thank you for sharing. As a movie lover myself it is always neat to see what others watch and love. I also love to hear about movies I may have missed out along the way. La Bamba was a great movie. Thanks again.
Comment: Whoops! I guess I previously rated you for my other partners bookmark! I don't know how I got mixed up! I just got yours today. It's beautiful! I love the paper roses. Brilliant! I like how you folded the paper around the base too which covers the sides. Did you come up with that idea yourself, or is there a tutorial somewhere? It gets a bit awkward if you are just gluing things down and leaving the sides exposed. (Like I did when I made mine!) Love it!
Response: The idea to cover the whole bookmark was mine. I got the idea for the paper roses from Pinterest and just added to it with the coloured edges. I really enjoyed doing it although it was actually quite difficult to do especially getting it to stick! xx
Comment: Thanks for sharing your board! :) I know: Simon Cowell, Robert Pattinson, Hugh Laurie (love him!), Kate Winslet, Anthony Hopkins (another great actor!), Amy Winehouse, One Direction, Hugh Grant, The Osbournes, Rowan Atkinson, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay (I love his reality TV shows), Nigella Lawson (I somehow find her very annoying... haha), J.K. Rowling, Daniel Craig, Robbie Williams, King Henry, Florence Nightingale, The Beatles, Shakespeare, Churchill, The Beckhams and the current Royal family! Maybe I should have listed whom I DON'T know... haha
Comment: I really loved your list and the fact you explained the reason you want to visit each country. I also liked your comment about the rain in the UK haha. We also have a lot of rain here in Germany but I love rain. I guess I'm one of the only people who wake up in the morning and get really frustrated when it's sunny but happy as can be when it's raining. Thank you for the swap :).
Comment: thank you Nicky for the lovely altered file folder and all the wonderful goodies inside of it. for it being your first time to make one these, you seem to be a professional at it. The folder was very well organized and will be quite useful for me to use with my swaps. it is also a great pattern for me to use again in the future:-) i enjoyed the PCs, the countryside is beautiful. the art on your PC you wrote on was pretty too. I enjoyed reading all about your church and seeing those brochures and shall have to send some of mine for my church. the loud colors of the file folder is JUST ME absolutely. I like how you included Bible versed little note pads in the folder and post-it notes. I am going to enjoy that breakfast tea and then use the outside packaging on an ATC. nothing goes to waste around here:-) I did not however understand what the 3 arrows were on the yellow note paper just inside the left side of the folder? Sending you hugs and prayers for a wonderful week. thank you for sharing your talents with me. many blessings to you, ellie
Comment: What a beautiful card! Thanks also for the poems, how very sweet. The postage stamp was huge and wonderful I will be saving that and possibly incorporating it into an ATC. Many hearts to you <3. <3. <3
Response: Thank you for your rating. I'm glad you liked the card and little bits that I included within :-)
Comment: Hei Nicky, thank you so much for the cute package! I love especially the socks and the photoframe snowball thingy - that is pretty neat! The scarf is not really my style, but I'm sure I'll find someone to pass it on to. :) Thanks also for your nice note, it's lovely to have someone write a few lines with a swap! See you soon swapping again, I hope! :)
Response: I'm so glad you received it, I was beginning to get a bit worried. The beauty of swap bot is that you will be able to swap the scarf that is not really your style hopefully for something that you will like xx
Comment: I loved the postcard. You didnt have the swap name or your nickname listed on the postcard. I went through all my swaps to find you and hope this is where this rating belongs. I love the postcard, and the church in Lichfield with 3 steeples or spires. It will be a nice addition to my collection. IF this is for the wrong swap, let me know. This seems right and it has the correct date. 3/01/13 Thanks for that part too.
Response: Oh sorry, I thought I had added the details, prob in a hurry to get them mailed ;-) Yes this is the correct swap rating
Comment: Re-rated Nicky for making the effort to fulfilling her swap requirements! :) She was absent due to much illness. Life does happen!
Response: I'm so sorry for disappearing and going AWOL, I had been really sick and was in and out of hospital for a while and just hadn't logged in or checked my messaged. This isn't like me and I can only apologise and try to make amends with my missing swaps.
Comment: Wow.........I LOVE your board. I can't pick my favorite pin. My top 3 favorites are Re-Cycling Christmas Bulb & Ornament Wreath, the beach pin (I'm a beach bum), and “Mistletoe Magicâ€.
Wonderful board. Thanks so much!
Comment: Wow, what a wonderful package I received from you this morning, thank you so much.
I am going to PM you with a little bit of information about your ATC for future reference. It is a nice one but doesn't fulfil all the criteria for an ATC, just a couple of details, nothing major :-)
Comment: Wow, Nicky, you went above and beyond with this swap!! Thank you so much for the cards and the tags, I'm adding them to my Christmas stash right now! I'll leave out the card with the tower(?) on it cause think I have a use for it on an atc I'm planning! Hope you have a good year swapping!
Comment: This was a most interesting PC -- we have what we call Instant Oatmeal, but I suspect the texture is somewhat different. The directions for ours call for water rather than milk, and it would be rather difficult to measure a liquid in ours packets because they are paper. At our house we eat a lot of grits for breakfast -- a cereal product made for corn rather than oats or wheat. And here's a weight loss tip that has been working for me: I generally eat Greek yogurt for breakfast, with a little honey for extra flavor. Greek yogurt has more protein than regular yogurt, at least than the kinds I can buy here, so it stays with you longer, and the dairy aspect of it seems to encourage weight loss. Good luck! I know from personal experience how hard it is to lose! Happy swapping!
