Hello from Ireland!

Update March 2023: I am going through a heartbreaking separation from my long term partner. As such I apologise if I am late to leave ratings for swaps received. I will do my best to get on top of them periodically and log in once a week to do so.

I love to craft, read, watch films, playing with my puppy and walking in nature. I enjoy travelling and having time to relax!

I find crafting very therapeutic as I have several ongoing mental health issues as well as health conditions.

I love being in nature and am blessed to live by the sea.

I work in the field of dementia care and find it fascinating and fulfilling.

I am part of the LGBTQI+ community. I am prochoice. I believe Black Lives Matter. I support indigenous lives. I know that not all disabilities are visible and have several invisible disabilities myself.

I like these items and themes:

• Washi tape

• Vellum paper, embossed paper, papers with metallic patterns or elements, handmade paper with flowers in it

• Wood mounted rubber stamps. I've a collection of Black Milk Project ones!

• Stickers of themes I like

• Ephemera

• Old vintage photographs of ladies, children, gay couples, animals (original photos or high quality reprints are both great!)

• Pastels and muted colours

• Rose gold

• Flowers and leaves

• Foxes / otters / rabbits / deer / sea turtles / fruit bats / woodland creatures

• Butterflies and moths of all kinds

• Naturalist themes (esp. with spooky overtones) - preserved butterflies, animal bones, feathers, dried flowers. Folklore oddities and real life chimeras such as jackalopes and chimera cats!

• Mystic/Esoteric theme

• Gothic, spooky theme (Think "a walk in a haunted woods under a full moon" rather than characters like Frankenstien/Dracula or the more cartoony/kiddy imagery)

• Nature connected spiritualism, the seasons and the elements

• Art Deco patterns

• Traditional Japanese nature - cherry blossoms, bamboo, sakura flowers, waterlilies...

• Tasteful female nudes, especially vintage, and figure studies of female, trans or nonbinary bodies.

I'm not fond of:

• Postage stamps (I have too many!)

• Architecture

• Historical or war based items, stories, or articles

• Transport - trains, cars, etc.

• Modern leaflets/magazines cut outs/photos/maps

• Religious iconography, including angels or cherubs

• Modern (1970s to present) fashion, clothing and makeup

• Post it notes

• Neon colours

• Children's/Kid-ish items

• Planner, organiser or alphabet stickers

• Male figures in illustrations or portraits / photos of men

• Christmas themed items esp. old fashioned Christmas imagery

I love to craft - ATCs, wax seals, ephemera, story prompts and happy mails are favourites of mine.
