I started my crafting journey July 2019 by joining various Facebook groups and absolutely fell in love with creating and swapping. There’s nothing like sending and receiving handcrafted things. Super excited to be a part of the swapbot community!
I'm married with no kids. We adopted 2 cats in July 2020 and it’s been an experience since. I live near Madison, where there are lots of parks and lakes and it's absolutely gorgeous on nice spring, summer, and fall days. When I'm not writing penpal letters or crafting, I'm baking, cooking, reading light romance books, or watching random YouTube videos.
I like anything cute. Cute is absolutely my kryptonite when buying things to create crafts. Things from brands like Doodlebug and Sunny Studios are what you'll find in my craft closet. I've stumbled upon some Etsy stores that sell cute things as well, especially for penpal letters.
I also love florals, disney characters, and anything sparkly.
My favorite colors are purple, teal, and pink. I enjoy other colors too, but these are my top 3.
Favorite Holidays for Crafting: Halloween, Christmas, and Easter
While I like Halloween crafting, I'm not much for horror or gory.
Please no religious items!
Biggest pet peeve for crafts: The crafts I've least enjoyed are the ones where it was clear that the sender put forth little to no effort in it (i.e. a pocket letter with badly cut inserts and unattached scraps of paper).
International mail is extremely slow since the global pandemic situation. I've mailed things a month ago that still haven't reached their destination.
In cases where you haven't received my mail within a reasonable amount of time, please contact me directly. It may be that it was simply lost in the mail, as that can happen. In pretty much all cases, I've addressed it as best as I can.
That all being said, I'm really excited to jump right on in and start swapping!
