About Me

I am an RN, have two dachshunds, and three cats. I'm married to a wonderful guy who gets my crafting addiction and lets me have my own craft room! I have no children, and I am also an atheist. I am getting into my family's genealogy and love learning more about the people who came before me!

Favorite Music

I like pretty much any kind of music except country. I really love heavy metal and punk. I love finding new music! Some of the bands I love are:

Favorite Books

I read a ton! I read everything from non fiction to historical fiction, mysteries, horror (zombies usually), paranormal, fantasy etc.

Favorite Crafts

I do a wide variety of crafts, and have the craft room to prove it, lol. Things I love to do: Altered art, crocheting, sewing, beading (have tons of beads), painting, paper crafts, making resin charms etc.

Interests....

Things that interest me.

*Anatomy and medicine.
*Books, vintage and different languages espcially, I use the pages in art. But I do actually love to read real books.
*Miniatures
*Dollhouses
*anything with a Gothic theme
*anything Victorian, I love their obsession with nature and medicine.
*Zombies
*ghosts
*cryptids (BIGFOOT!!!)
*Steampunk
*Animals (even reptiles!)
*Butterflies and dragonflies
*Spiders (I like the image of them, but don't like them in real life.)
*I collect vintage glass mason jars, and I LOVE the ones with the glass lids. I also collect antique perfume bottles. *Swarovski crystal beads
*Beads (glass or stone only.)

Dislikes...

I'm allergic to nickel, like cheap jewelry. Sterling silver and stainless is fine tho. I don't wear gold jewelry, it makes me look funny.

I dislike most insects, see above for the exceptions.

Please don't send religious materials. I will laugh and then throw it away. I am an atheist, and I'm not looking to get converted, thanks.

Comment: Thanks a lot for you handstamped images. I think you selected them quite considerably. Most of them are easy to cut out and I am thinking about doing tags with the rectangular motives. As there is some extra material (more than 2 pages Din A4) you deserve a star.

Comment: Thank you for the letter and the decoupage advice! Let me know if you ever feel brave enough to do a decoupage swap with someone who doesn't know what they are doing (ie me). I purchased the stationery that you liked from etsy.com/shop/PuchiMo. Where did you find that awesome deco tape? Talk to you soon. :)

I think I used the ones with the bird cages? If so, I got that at michael's, if it was plastic hello kitty or something, I probably got it on etsy, lol.

I had posted her name in the non raters forum, because she took over 2 months to rate me. Not once ever, did earthnk contact me about her disappointment in the swap I sent. In that time, I contacted her twice about rating me. The first time I contacted her, I was told she was out of country and would rate me when she returned. On 11.6 I posted to her profile to please rate me. She then replied to my post in the non raters group with "You are rated. I was so looking forward to this swap but greatly saddened when I saw you had my name. Past group issues left me feeling not to expect much and boy did you pay off in spades there." My membership in FOK has no influence on what I make for other people on this site. For the record, I never once spoke to this person in said group, and she left right as I was joining.I just want everyone to see what she was "very disappointed" in. EDIT: I don't know why you just suddenly changed your response to this rating, but it kind of irritates me. Why change it now almost a year later? Did you try to go back in there and give me a 3 and couldn't? .
