About Me

Greetings to all “Swap-bot” sisters, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this awesome community. I am excited to be able to participate in the swaps because I will have to start creating, and put the mountains of "craft-gear" I love to buy to good use by sharing it with others.

Favorites

CRAFTS: Papercrafting (especially greeting cards), rubberstamping, sewing, basketmaking, and knitting. I like making silver (viking knit) bracelets and necklaces. I am fast-loving inchies and ATCs.

BOOKS: Cookbooks, crafting, biographies and autobiographies, inspirational and motivational, "how to" manuals and life long learning manuals, telephone directories, and self-help.

MOVIES: The War of The Roses", "Mother" starring Debbie Reynolds, "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane", and "Driving Miss Daisy" I love the old classic black and white dramas..Betty Davis, Joan Cawford, Rita Haywood, just to name a few

MUSIC: Disco, country & western, gospel, and R&B, smooth jazz, folk dancing, line dancing, and Zumba.

TELEVISION: Everybody Loves Raymond, It's Hot in Cleveland, Undercover Boss, Family Feud, and documentaries. Most of everything on TVland, and the Hallmark channel.

Likes and Dislikes

I love earth tones, neutral and regal colors, but will appreciate any color you care to send.

A few things I collect: teapots, ink pens, bookmarks, vintage buttons, elephants, totebags, and post cards (since I joined swap-bot--Yeah).

I do not like vampire, gothic, horror, science fiction, snakes or rodent themes ( I am very scary).

I have allergies so please, no strong fruity, floral or spiced fragrances, or tobacco scented things.

Swaps

My parents taught me to be grateful for whatever another person gives you when it is from their heart and it is the best they are able to give. I appreciate your valuable time and effort into a project.

I will only send you a swap made with quality products, even if the swap calls for used or recycled, or re-swaps. I will never send you "junk" just to complete a swap.

Names of God Swap

In Daniel 7:22, Daniel is describing his vision of Heaven, He sees a Man sitting on a flaming throne with hair and clothing white as snow. He refers to Him as The Ancient of Days bespeaking to His eternal state and dominion. The Only One who is truly ancient formed before days were even created; He was in the beginning before there was a beginning (John 1:1-2).

The Day Star; 2 Peter 1:19. This is the scientific definition of a day star: A day star is the morning star which ushers in the day. In Hebrew, the word BOKER means the arrival of morning but not just a gradual lightening of the day rather “the breaking through of daylight”. When you see that first break of light on the horizon, penetrating through the darkness of the night…HE is literally THAT LIGHT, He is The Day Star who breaks through darkness (impenetrable ignorance, sin, The Kingdom of Darkness, flesh, etc.)

Comforter - Jeremiah 8:18 "You who are my Comforter in sorrow, my heart is faint within me." This is an important one because God should be the one who gets us through the tough times! :) He provides the best comfort.

Life: John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die"

God is life! He provided His only son as a tribute for our sins! Only true life comes from God.

And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel ,‘I am has sent me to you.’ ” Exodus 3:14) – When Jesus ascribed to Himself this title, the Jews tried to stone Him for blasphemy. They understood that He was declaring Himself to be the eternal God, the unchanging Jehovah of the Old Testament. "I AM" this statement says everything to me.
