Hi, I'm Brittany! I am new to swap-bot but already enjoying it. I am in my early thirties and currently live in the great state of Texas. I love animals (cats especially - I have one of my own), Halloween, stickers, stationery, organizing, crafting, writing letters, trying new things, true crime, horror movies, reading, and daydreaming. I am currently learning Adobe Illustrator and enjoying the simpler things in life. :)
I have a small sticker shop on Etsy (The Planner Pumpkin) where I make stickers - it's linked above if you'd like to check me out!
I tend to buy more than I can read. As I like to say - buying books and reading books are two different hobbies! I enjoy spending hours perusing the shelves at local used bookstores. My favorite genres are mystery, thriller, and fantasy. Extra points for a dystopian setting! I am also on the hunt for a horror book that will truly scare me - so far I have been undisturbed by my "scary" reads.
My favorite is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I love love love all things HP! I'm a Hufflepuff! Cliche, I know, but I am who I am!
I always love book suggestions from like-minded readers. I'm on Goodreads if you'd like to check me out!
The IT Crowd, The League, It's Always Sunny, Dexter, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Downton Abbey, Stranger Things, The Witcher, Task Master and so many more.
I love dark humor and dry humor!
Currently watching: Reservation Dogs (loving it!)
I've dabbled in many including painting, drawing, polymer clay, and cross stitch. I currently do a variety of random crafts such as making Harry Potter and Halloween themed ornaments.
My favorite craft pastime is paper crafts. I love making stickers, die cuts, envelopes, mail art, etc! I like to theme my snail mail and I cannot resist a good cardstock paper pad. My Silhouette Cameo definitely gets some use.
I desperately want to get back into painting and follow some Bob Ross tutorials!
Legends of the Fall, Beetlejuice, Reign of Fire, What We Do in the Shadows, Harry Potter, Elf, Hocus Pocus, Pearl Harbor, Lord of the Rings

bath bombs/bubble bars (love LUSH so much)
art! I love when friends send me little things they've sewn, stitched, drawn, painted, crafted, etc!
food likes - all kinds of candy! Seriously, there's very little that I dislike when it comes to candy. I also like caramel corn, hot cheetos/hot fries, seasonal snacks - I'm pretty easy when it comes to snacks :)
scent likes - I typically like more "feminine" scents and some of my favorites are Victoria's Secret Bombshell and Dior J'Adore for reference. In candles and wax melts/tarts I enjoy a variety of scents - seasonal blends, fruit blends, and I'm not insanely picky. The only things I tend to steer clear of are incense-like scents, heavy vanilla, heavy apple, and anything super sweet like baked goods scents.
coffee or drink mixes
used postage stamps
anything rose scented
anime and K-pop
buttons and faux gemstones
body and skincare items (excluding bath+shower items)

food dislikes - dark chocolate, raspberry, mango, black licorice, spicy things, hard candy, marshmallow
scent dislikes - heavy vanilla, heavy apple, anything incense-like, patchouli, rose
It's my favorite holiday! I much prefer the cute aesthetic to gory. I decorate at the beginning of October and try to go all out with my outdoor decorations.
This is the first year that I will have a Halloween tree in my home and I am BEYOND excited. I've been making ornaments myself to make it extra special.
It's a magical holiday for me and I love making all sorts of Halloween themed snail mail and gift packages for my pen pals and friends especially those that live overseas!
